About the Role: Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Global Controller, the Vice President, Global Accounting will lead an organization of approximately 16 professionals spanning accounting operations, consolidated financial reporting, and treasury. This is a highly visible leadership role, and as Lyra continues to grow and evolve, this leader will be responsible for scaling the accounting function and building the processes, controls, systems, talent, and operating discipline necessary to support increasing business complexity and prepare the company to operate at public-company standards. The ideal candidate is a modern accounting executive who combines deep accounting expertise with exceptional operational leadership, strategic thinking, and a transformation mindset. They have successfully led and scaled accounting organizations in complex, high-growth environments and understand what it takes to build a world-class, public-company-ready accounting function. This leader will be equally comfortable setting strategy, developing talent, challenging existing processes, leveraging technology and AI, and engaging directly in complex accounting matters when needed. They will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and a key architect of Lyra’s next-generation accounting organization.
