We appreciate the individuality of the people around us.</p> <hr> <p> </p></div><p><strong>JOB SUMMARY:</strong></p> <p>The Systems Engineer, MBSE responsibilities include improving the current IT infrastructure, optimizing business operations, and setting the direction and approach for integrating information applications and programs. The Systems Engineer is also responsible for cataloging, developing, coordinating, communicating, maintaining, and enforcing overall enterprise architecture models, representations, initiatives, capabilities, and components to adequately perform the organization's business and technology activities.</p> <p>To be successful as a Systems Engineer, MBSE you should have excellent technical, analytical, and project management skills. You should also have strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.</p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide technical expertise in the modeling and analysis of military systems and their broader system-of-systems architectures.</li> <li>Apply model-based system engineering (MBSE) to define system functions and develop functional and performance requirements.</li> <li>Apply model-based system engineering (MBSE) to develop architectural views using DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM) and Systems Modeling Language (SysML).</li> <li>Analyze MBSE models to derive mission threads and use cases to aid in system-level verification planning.</li> <li>Evaluating internal functions, business development strategies, and IT processes and suggesting improvements.</li> <li>Creating business architecture models to reflect the organization's strategies and goals and creating</li> <li>and implementing business visions and goals.</li> <li>Evaluating systems engineering, talent recruiting, and accounting models for discrepancies and vulnerabilities.</li> <li>Suggesting ideas to reduce costs in IT and business leadership.</li> <li>Organizing training to improve employees' knowledge and skills for future organizational growth.</li> <li>Providing business architecture and systems processing guidance.</li> <li>Ensuring the efficiency, security, and support of the organization's goals.</li> <li>Creating methods for compliance architecture, such as data storage, metadata management, and change control.</li> <li>Determining and implementing build versus buy strategies, mentor personnel, and views of the overall business strategy.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Architecture & Design using <strong>Cameo</strong></li> <li>Experience in<strong> DoDAF, SysML</strong> and UML modeling, simulation, and analysis</li> <li><strong>Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience using Cameo Enterprise Architect</strong></li> <li>Rational Rhapsody, Sparx Enterprise Architect, or other comparable tools</li> <li>Experience with MATLAB, STK, AFSIM, Simulink, Model Center, or other comparable modeling and simulation tools</li> <li>Proven experience in use of descriptive modeling for architecture solutions (e.g., building models and diagrams with Cameo EA)</li> <li>Solid understanding of Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)</li> <li>Experience in Cameo and SysML applications</li> <li>Hands-on experience with the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)</li> <li>Excellent technical, analytical, and project management skills</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Good leadership and motivational skills</li> <li>Experience in modeling and graphic representations</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>EXPERIENCE: 3</strong>+ Years’ demonstrated Enterprise Architecture Experience <strong><br><br></strong></p> <p><strong>EDUCATION: </strong>Technical BA/BS (Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Physics) or equivalent preferred but not required</p> <p><strong>SECURITY CLEARANCE: </strong> <u>Active Top Secret security clearance <strong>REQUIRED</strong></u></p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description">Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs.
