You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to continuously push the boundaries of what’s possible on the web—delivering delightful, cutting-edge experiences for millions of Pinners around the world. What you’ll do: <ul> <li>Build for Impact: Create and launch powerful, user-facing features for Desktop and Mobile Web that help spark creativity and inspire our global community.</li> <li>Full Product Ownership: Contribute through every stage—from rapid prototyping and A/B testing to architecting, building, and scaling solutions that reach millions.</li> <li>Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely across design, product, and backend to deliver seamless, end-to-end functionality.</li> <li>Drive Innovation: Advocate for Pinners by suggesting new ideas and features, and use your product sense to shape what’s next.</li> <li>Quality Engineering: Employ automated testing and best practices to deliver reliable, maintainable code—taking full ownership of your work.</li> <li>Mentor & Connect: Share your expertise through mentoring teammates, leading code reviews, and contributing to technical decision-making.</li> <li>Leverage AI Thoughtfully: Use AI for rapid prototyping, information synthesis, documentation, and more—always validating results to drive speed, quality, and innovation. </li> </ul> What we’re looking for: <ul> <li>Deep understanding of Web development and best practices in React/Redux.</li> <li>5+ years of industry Web application development experience, building consumer or business facing products.</li> <li>Experience in following best practices in writing reliable and maintainable code that may be used by many other engineers.</li> <li>Ability to keep up-to-date with new technologies to understand what should be incorporated.</li> <li>Strong collaboration and communication skills.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in your day-to-day workflow for relevant outputs.</li> <li>Strong track record of critical evaluation and verification of AI-assisted work (e.g., testing, source-checking, data validation, peer review).</li> <li>High integrity and ownership: you protect sensitive data, avoid over-reliance on AI, and remain accountable for final decisions and deliverables. </li> </ul> This job posting is for an open vacancy.
