Vendor Strategy & Relationship Management</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Own the pharmacy vendor portfolio: primary, backup, regional, and specialty partners across both compounded and branded tiers</li> <li>Design and maintain vendor scorecards; lead business reviews (QBRs) against SLAs for speed, accuracy, fill rate, and cost</li> <li>Serve as the lead operator on pharmacy RFPs, contract renewals, and onboarding of new partners</li> <li>Maintain contractual SLA documentation; flag compliance gaps and drive remediation with vendors</li> <li>Build and own the vendor escalation playbook for supply disruptions, quality events, and service failures</li> </ul> <h2><strong>2. Pharmacy Cost & Margin</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Build and maintain a pharmacy cost model: acquisition cost by drug, formulation, strength, and vendor; track actuals vs. budget monthly</li> <li>Lead pricing benchmarking across compounded and branded partners; surface optimization opportunities to leadership</li> <li>Identify and model COGS levers: vendor-mix shifts, volume-tiered pricing, formulation substitutions, and compounding cost inputs</li> <li>Partner with growth/finance on the pharmacy P&L; be the ops counterpart in monthly close reviews</li> </ul> <h2><strong>3. Clinical & Product Partnership</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Collaborate with clinical ops on formulary updates, titration protocol changes, and how they ripple into pharmacy workflows</li> <li>Own the operational side of the order-to-ship pipeline; partner with product and engineering on pharmacy integration health</li> <li>Bring the vendor and ops perspective into the pharmacy roadmap; flag where tech gaps create manual work or member risk</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2><strong>4. Member Shipment Experience</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Own the end-to-end member experience for medication/prescription shipment SLA: define what we promise, measure adherence, and lead improvement initiatives</li> <li>Partner with MX to build proactive shipment communication triggers (delay alerts, exception workflows) that reduce inbound contacts</li> <li>Design and maintain the lost/delayed shipment playbook; own resolution workflows with vendors and MX</li> <li>Drive data integration between pharmacy partners and internal systems to enable self-serve shipment tracking for members</li> </ul> <h2><strong>5. Compliance & Quality Operations</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Maintain working knowledge of 503A vs. 503B regulatory distinctions as they apply to our compounded network</li> <li>Track third-party testing requirements (potency, sterility, endotoxins) across compounded partners; ensure testing cadence is met</li> <li>Own the operational side of pharmacy recall and product withdrawal workflows</li> <li>Support state board of pharmacy registration tracking across the vendor network</li> <li>Partner with legal/compliance on any pharmacy-related regulatory inquiries or audits</li> </ul> <h2><strong>6. Inventory, Capacity & Shortage Management</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Track FDA shortage list and vendor allocation signals proactively; maintain a real-time view of network supply health</li> <li>Develop and maintain substitution and allocation playbooks for shortage scenarios across compounded and branded products</li> <li>Build a 30/60/90-day demand forecast in partnership with the clinical and growth teams; translate into vendor capacity conversations</li> <li>Own the compounding batch timing and inventory cycle in coordination with 503A/503B partners</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h1><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></h1> <h2><strong>Required</strong></h2> <ul> <li>7+ years of experience in pharmacy operations, healthcare supply chain, or a closely related function; prior experience at a Senior Manager or Director level preferred</li> <li>PharmD — we expect this person to bring clinical credibility alongside operational depth</li> <li>Proven track record owning pharmacy vendor relationships end-to-end, including SLA accountability, QBRs, and contract negotiations</li> <li>Hands-on experience with pharmaceutical cost structures and drug acquisition — you can build a pharmacy P&L model and defend it in a finance review</li> <li>Experience operating in or adjacent to compounded pharmacy (503A or 503B) with a working understanding of USP compliance and third-party testing requirements</li> <li>Strong analytical skills: you build your own models, spot anomalies, and come to conversations with data</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional work and influence without direct authority at a senior level</li> <li>Comfortable in an early-stage, fast-moving environment where you are often writing the playbook for the first time</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Nice to Have</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Experience at a telehealth, direct-to-consumer pharmacy, or digital health company</li> <li>Familiarity with GLP-1 therapies, semaglutide or tirzepatide supply dynamics, or compounded peptide operations</li> <li>Experience running vendor RFPs or negotiating pharmacy contracts</li> <li>Exposure to pharmacy data integrations </li> <li>Experience building or contributing to a pharmacy P&L model</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p>Found is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
