Sr Lead Architect - Blockchain

As a Senior Lead Architect at JPMorganChase within the Kinexys team, you will design and implement innovative solutions, collaborating closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality products. This role is ideal for someone who prefers technical depth and direct contribution over traditional management responsibilities. Job Responsibilities - Architect, design, and implement scalable solutions, working directly with engineering teams and writing production-quality code as needed. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship, guiding best practices in architecture, design, and implementation. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements, compliance standards, and security best practices. - Identify and resolve technical challenges, proactively addressing dependencies and integration points with other teams and platforms. - Drive adoption of automation, CI/CD, and cloud-native technologies to improve delivery speed and reliability. - Contribute to the evaluation, integration, and implementation of public blockchain technologies and protocols. - Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning within the team. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills - Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience - Strong experience designing and building technology solutions, with a focus on hands-on architecture and implementation. - Proficient in automation, CI/CD, and all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle. - Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, application resiliency, and security. - Practical experience with cloud-native platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). - Demonstrated experience working with public blockchain technologies (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Hyperledger, etc.). - In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems. Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills - Experience working at the code level (e.g., Java, Python, Go, or similar languages). - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex technical challenges. - Experience integrating blockchain solutions with existing enterprise systems.
