About the Role This is a founding Solution Engineer position at an early-stage B2B SaaS company bringing AI-powered quoting and order automation to distributors and manufacturers. You'll be the technical backbone of enterprise sales — sitting at the intersection of sales, product, and engineering — and will directly influence both how complex deals are won and what gets built next. What You'll Do Own the full technical sales cycle on major deals, from first demo through to a signed customer. Embed into customer workflows to surface the use cases that best demonstrate real value on their data and in their context. Join sales conversations as the credible technical counterpart on integrations, data, security, and architecture — resolving the concerns that stand between a prospect and a buying decision. Build and run proofs-of-concept and live demos using customer data rather than idealised examples. Translate deal insights into clear, prioritised product feedback — distinguishing demo-only requests from core product needs. What We're Looking For 2+ years in Solution Engineering, Technical Customer Success, Technical Consulting, or a closely related role. Hands-on proficiency in JavaScript and Python, with solid experience working with APIs, integrations, and system architecture. Demonstrated ability to deliver compelling proofs-of-concept and live demos using real customer data in enterprise deal cycles. Working knowledge of enterprise data security, privacy, and integration considerations (e.g. ERP/CRM connectivity, GDPR, data handling). Native-level German and strong communication skills — able to present confidently to senior stakeholders and stay composed when a demo is stress-tested live. A track record of identifying the real problem behind a customer request and making abstract products feel tangible and credible. Commercial instincts: you can read a room, spot the real blocker, speak the customer's language, and move deals forward. Comfortable with ambiguity and energised by the unstructured nature of an early-stage startup. Willing and keen to work on-site in Munich in a high-intensity environment. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: €90,000 – €200,000 per year. Visa sponsorship is available. Location On-site in Munich, Germany .
