We appreciate the individuality of the people around us. <hr>  </div>JOB SUMMARY:   The Senior Principal Software Engineer serves as the high-level technical authority for software engineering on the Oracle/RHEL Tech Refresh contract based in Colorado Springs, Colorado.   This role provides deep technical expertise in enterprise Oracle database architecture, development methodologies, system integration, and emerging technologies. The Senior Principal Software Engineer leads complex database design initiatives, advises leadership on technical strategy, and ensures engineering solutions meet mission, security, scalability, and performance requirements.  The candidate collaborates closely with program leadership, architects, engineers, cybersecurity teams, and stakeholders to design and implement advanced software solutions supporting enterprise systems, cloud environments, and mission-critical platforms.  This project delivers a mission-assured technical refresh of the CCIC2S Oracle database and RHEL operating environments, upgrading legacy systems to Oracle 19c and RHEL 9.7 while preserving full operational continuity.  It includes comprehensive engineering, integration, cybersecurity, testing, and deployment activities to ensure zero data loss, improved performance, strengthened security, and seamless compatibility across all CCIC2S mission systems.  Location will be north Colorado Springs
