<p>We are looking for a software engineer to help us build Piramidal’s flagship product. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining the system that enables performant web experiences for our users.</p> <h3><strong>In this role you will:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Design and implement Piramidal’s flagship user interface.</li> <li>Collaborate with product, design, and ML engineering teams to deliver cohesive web experiences.</li> <li>Implement real time visualizations for high dimensional data streams using websockets and performance oriented charting libraries.</li> <li>Optimize performance for critical web components.</li> </ul> <h3>Your background looks something like:</h3> <ul> <li>5+ years of practical experience as a frontend engineer.</li> <li>Deep expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React and NextJS (ie, “backend-of-the-frontend” subject matter expertise).</li> <li>Experience optimizing web application performance and measuring metrics like ARS.</li> </ul> <h3>Strong candidates may have:</h3> <ul> <li>Background in building infrastructure.</li> <li>Familiarity with frontend monitoring and alerting systems.</li> <li>Proficiency with TypeScript and strong typing systems.</li> <li>Experience with frontend performance optimization techniques on real-time data.</li> <li>A portfolio of high-quality, scalable web applications in production environments.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>About Us</strong></h3> <p>We are building a first-of-its-kind foundation model for electrophysiological brain data. Our goal is to create scaled neural decoders that enable humans to understand and control neural syntax. Our flagship product brings a state of the art seizure detection model into real time clinical workflows, helping clinicians detect and respond to seizures faster.</p> <h3><strong>Interview Process</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Initial Screen</strong>: 30 minute discussion to ensure timelines, experience and expectations align.</li> <li><strong>Technical Screen</strong>: 1hr live via Google Meet.</li> <li><strong>Final Round</strong>: Technical design question (1hr),Product sense (30 min), Q&A (15min).</li> </ul>
