Now, let’s make sure you’re a good fit for the role Responsibilities: You'll work in a platform team that builds and maintains the cloud platform services, supporting key components and improving our platform as a product model: API management, compute, data stores, messaging, observability, source control, pipelines, cloud resource and billing management. You'll offer the platform, services and support to stream-aligned teams building the products that power the next-generation banking services and treat them as your valued customers. You'll take ownership and accountability of the internal platform services in your remit and ensure they meet the required quality bars for resiliency, security, and scalability as well as addressing cost optimisation and operational excellence. <ul> <li>Build and run a platform that enables engineering teams to take their products to market faster and run them reliably and efficiently</li> <li>Take full ownership and accountability for the ClearBank cloud platform products your team owns and each aspect of the software delivery, support and maintenance lifecycle as well as regularly gaining feedback ensuring they are self-service and still fit for purpose</li> <li>Work closely with Technical Product Owners, Agile Delivery Managers, Staff and Principal engineers, Senior Engineering Managers and Head of Infrastructure to define the short-term backlogs, delivery plans and long-term roadmaps for your team</li> <li>Support the risk management of your product, identify risk proactively within technology and delivery across the organisation</li> <li>Leverage modern technologies where appropriate to get the most value out of existing ClearBank platform offering and deliver additional value in the highest-priority areas.
