Senior Visual Designer Product-Focused (Freelance)

<p> <strong>Headquarters:</strong> Remote (US) </p> <div class="job__description body"><div><p><strong>Web + Digital Experiences</strong></p><br><p>We’re looking for a freelance Visual Designer with a strong product mindset to support our web and digital experience work. This role is end-to-end. You’ll take ideas from early visual exploration through execution, partnering closely with strategy, UX, and development to bring thoughtful, well-crafted products to life.</p><br><p>This role reports to the Design Lead / CCO.</p><br><h3><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h3><br><ul><br><li>Lead visual design from concept through delivery with a product lens</li><br><li>Create moodboards, look &amp; feel explorations, and early visual directions</li><br><li>Collaborate closely with Strategy and UX to translate ideas into structured, usable experiences</li><br><li>Apply visual systems to wireframes and user flows</li><br><li>Design modular components and scalable design systems</li><br><li>Iterate based on feedback, constraints, and user needs.</li><br><li>Prepare clean, developer-ready Figma files</li><br><li>Support Webflow builds or handoff to development (Webflow experience is a plus)</li><br><li>Present work in internal and client-facing meetings, clearly walking through ideas and design rationale</li><br></ul><br><h3><strong>What you’re strong at</strong></h3><br><ul><br><li>Product-focused visual design with a clear point of view</li><br><li>Advanced Figma skills (components, variants, auto layout, libraries)</li><br><li>Design systems and modular thinking</li><br><li>Strong typography, layout hierarchy, spacing, and visual rhythm</li><br><li>Clear verbal and visual communication of ideas</li><br><li>Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional partners</li><br></ul><br><h3><strong>Bonus points</strong></h3><br><ul><br><li>Webflow build experience or strong understanding of Webflow constraints</li><br><li>Experience partnering closely with developers through build and QA</li><br><li>Comfort presenting and defending work with clients</li><br></ul><br><p>If you’re a visual designer who thinks in systems, designs with intention, and can clearly articulate your ideas, we’d love to work together.</p><br><p><strong><em>The target range of base compensation for this role is $65.00 - $85.00 per hour.
