Senior Product Manager - Design Systems

We’re looking for a strategic Senior Product Manager to lead and evolve design systems, accessibility, and AI-powered tooling at Spotify. In this role, you’ll own the vision and execution for the foundational systems that enable Spotify’s designers and engineers to build world-class, inclusive experiences — faster, more consistently, and with AI as a core part of the workflow. This is a senior IC role that requires you to operate with high autonomy in ambiguous spaces. You’ll set direction for complex, multi-team initiatives, make high-stakes prioritization calls, and bring analytical rigor to how we measure system adoption, design quality, and the impact of AI-assisted workflows. You’ll also be expected to use AI tools fluently in your own work — from analysis and synthesis to prototyping and decision support. You’ll work at the intersection of design systems, platform engineering, and AI — ensuring our foundational design language (Encore) is usable, extensible, and built for a future where both humans and AI agents consume design infrastructure. You’ll serve as the connective tissue between strategic initiatives, execution teams, and leadership, driving alignment on resourcing, sequencing, and tradeoffs with clarity and conviction.
