Senior Product Designer — Mobile

<p>Clear Street Active is a new retail trading product and mobile is a first-class surface. A lot of our users will spend most of their time there, and the experience has to hold up on its own terms, not as a scaled-down version of the web app.</p> <p>We're looking for a Senior Product Designer who thinks mobile-first and has shipped on iOS and Android. We're early enough that you'll be defining the mobile experience before it exists.</p> <p><strong>What you'll do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own mobile product design across key surfaces</li> <li>Work closely with iOS and Android engineering to ship</li> <li>Prototype in the real codebase using AI tooling</li> <li>Bring a mobile perspective to design system work. Patterns that don't hold up on a small screen need to be caught early.</li> <li>Keep the mobile and web experiences cohesive alongside the rest of the design team</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we're looking for</strong></p> <ul> <li>Deep mobile craft: iOS and Android native patterns, gesture interactions, the details that separate a good mobile product from a great one</li> <li>Some familiarity with investing or trading, from work or personal use. Not a hard requirement, but you'll need to get up to speed quickly.</li> <li>Strong product design fundamentals</li> <li>Can prototype in the real codebase using AI tooling</li> <li>Works closely with engineering, not around it</li> <li>High autonomy, no ego</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Has shipped a consumer fintech mobile product</li> <li>Deep trading domain expertise</li> <li>Experience designing across web and mobile in the same product</li> </ul> <p>This is a small team. Everyone is building, giving feedback, and in the work together, not siloed by function.</p> <p></p>
