In everything we do, we’re committed to artistic integrity, transparency, and entrepreneurship.</p> <p>Sony Music Entertainment is a member of the Sony family of global companies.</p> <p>We're looking for a New York-based <strong>Senior Product Designer</strong> to own the design vision for our <strong>Direct-to-Consumer (D2C)</strong> product area within our <strong>Product Design Engineering and Global Operations (or PDEGO) organization.<br></strong><br>Sony Music's product design team has traditionally focused on B2B - internal tools and suite applications used by Sony employees, labels, and artists. This role expands that scope. You'll work across both sides: the internal tools that power D2C operations, and consumer-facing artist storefronts built on Shopify, with custom extensions on top. You'll be the long-term design owner of that consumer experience.</p> <h2><strong>What you'll do:</strong></h2> <ul> <li> Design internal D2C tools including a multi-store management dashboard, batch workflows, and ops data views</li> <li>Connect the ecosystem by integrating Shopify data into our existing suite applications.</li> <li>Own the Shopify storefront by overseeing agency build, then serving as long-term design owner of the consumer experience</li> <li>Build custom Shopify apps that extend platform capabilities (bundles, tracklist display, and more)</li> <li>Create analytics dashboards surfacing the right ecommerce metrics for operators and leadership</li> <li>Lead discovery alongside PM and engineering, researching fan and operator needs and shipping from there</li> </ul> <h2 class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoField_Job"><strong>Who you are:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>You have ecommerce fluency. You understand storefront design, shopping flows, and what drives conversion and trust for fans</li> <li>Experience designing both B2B tools and consumer-facing products; this role requires both</li> <li> Comfort with analytics and data-heavy UIs, and a sense for which ecommerce metrics matter</li> <li>Exceptional visual and UI craft across consumer storefronts and internal tools</li> <li>Strong research skills and the ability to advocate for both fan needs and operator needs</li> <li>Systems thinking across many tools, integrations, and user types</li> <li>Clear communication with
