Work with cloud-based infrastructure to deploy, monitor, and operate services in production environments (5%). </li> <li class="p1" style="font-size: 12pt;">Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes (5%). </li> <li class="p1" style="font-size: 12pt;">Analyze and improve system performance, reliability, and fault tolerance in distributed environments (5%). </li> <li class="p1" style="font-size: 12pt;">Design, implement, and operate DNS-based services, including DNS record lifecycle management, caching strategies, and traffic routing policies to ensure reliable and performant name resolution at scale (10%). </li> <li class="p1" style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and operations, to define and deliver technical solutions (3%). </li> <li class="p1" style="font-size: 12pt;">Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and support ongoing system operations (1%). </li> <li class="p1" style="font-size: 12pt;">Document system design, architecture, and operational procedures (1%).</li> </ul>   Telecommuting: Telecommuting may be permitted up to 3 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to DigiCert, Inc. at 6 Pidgeon Hill Drive, Ste 360 Sterling, VA 20147.   Salary: $179,000-$215,000 per year   Minimum Requirements:  <ul> <li class="p1" style="font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field</li> <li class="p1" style="font-size: 12pt;">5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or any occupation, job title, or position developing and operating mission-critical platforms.</li> </ul>   Special Requirements: Must also have:  <ul> <li class="p1" style="font-size: 12pt;">5 years of professional experience developing backend systems using Java in large-scale, distributed, high-availability environments</li> <li class="p1" style="font-size: 12pt;">5 years of professional experience building applications using frameworks (including Spring Boot) to design modular and service-oriented architectures</li> <li class="p1" style="font-size: 12pt;">5 years of professional experience designing and implementing RESTful and gRPC APIs, including handling high-throughput and low-latency workloads</li> <li class="p1" style="font-size: 12pt;">5 years of professional experience working with cloud-based infrastructure (including Amazon Web Services (AWS)), encompassing deployment, scalability, service availability, and resiliency</li> <li class="p1" style="font-size: 12pt;">5 years of professional experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including designing data models for distributed systems and performance optimization</li> <li class="p1" style="font-size: 12pt;">5 years of professional experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including automated testing and deployment strategies for distributed services</li> <li class="p1" style="font-size: 12pt;">5 years of professional experience designing distributed systems, including concepts including service discovery, load balancing, fault tolerance, and system observability</li> <li class="p1" style="font-size: 12pt;">2 years of professional experience designing DNS architecture and networking fundamentals, including DNS record management, caching behavior, and traffic routing concepts.</li> </ul>   How to Apply: Submit resume online at https://www.digicert.com/careers or via email to nawaal.cassiem@digicert.com.
