As a global community of innovators, we foster a culture of <strong>growth, collaboration, </strong>and <strong>impact.</strong><strong><br></strong><strong><br></strong><strong>With the right people and the right ideas, there’s no limit to what we can achieve</strong></p> <p><strong>About the role:</strong></p> <div> <p>We're seeking a Senior PV Performance Engineer to support a growing portfolio of utility-scale and distributed solar assets across the United States.</p> <p>This role combines solar performance engineering, advanced analytics, and data-driven decision making to optimize plant performance, identify energy losses, and improve operational efficiency across the portfolio.</p> </div> <p><strong><em>Key Responsibilities</em></strong></p> <ul> <li> <div>Analyze operational and SCADA data from solar PV plants.</div> </li> <li> <div>Evaluate plant performance against expected energy production.</div> </li> <li> <div>Develop performance models and predictive analytics solutions.</div> </li> <li> <div>Identify energy losses, equipment issues, and underperformance drivers.</div> </li> <li> <div>Calculate key performance metrics including PR, availability, and energy performance indicators.</div> </li> <li> <div>Collaborate with Asset Management, O&amp;M, Data Science, and Software teams.</div> </li> <li> <div>Support automation of reporting and analytics using modern programming tools and AI-enabled workflows.</div> </li> </ul> <p><strong><em>Must-have Skills</em></strong><strong><em>&nbsp;</em></strong></p> <ul> <li> <div>5+ years of experience in solar PV performance engineering, asset management, or performance analytics.</div> </li> <li> <div>Strong experience with PVsyst and photovoltaic performance modeling.</div> </li> <li> <div>Experience analyzing SCADA and time-series operational data.</div> </li> <li> <div>Strong Python and SQL skills.</div> </li> <li> <div>Knowledge of solar plant KPIs, energy losses, and performance testing.</div> </li> <li> <div>Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms.</div> </li> <li> <div>Strong understanding of PV systems, inverters, trackers, and solar operations.</div> </li> </ul> <p><strong><em>Nice-to-have:</em></strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>AI Tooling Proficiency</strong>: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation.
