Learn why more than 100,000 organizations, including 90% of the Fortune 500, choose DigiCert to stop today’s threats and prepare for a quantum-safe future at <a href="http://www.digicert.com/">www.digicert.com</a></div>Job summary <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The Network Infrastructure team is responsible for the operation, monitoring, maintenance, and support of DigiCert's global production network.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">This position serves as a first responder for network incidents and operational requests, providing initial troubleshooting, monitoring, and administration of production network systems.</li> </ul> What you will do <ul> <li> <div>Network Operations & Monitoring</div> </li> <li> <div>Monitor the health, performance, and availability of global production network infrastructure.</div> </li> <li> <div>Review device logs, alerts, and monitoring systems to identify and respond to operational issues.</div> </li> <li> <div>Perform initial troubleshooting and incident response for network-related events.</div> </li> <li> <div>Troubleshoot network, application, database, DNS, load balancing, and service connectivity issues across data center and cloud environments.</div> </li> <li> <div>Work with Internet service providers, telecommunications carriers, cloud providers, application teams, database administrators, and third-party vendors to diagnose and resolve connectivity, routing, latency, and service-impacting issues.</div> </li> <li> <div>Participate in incident response activities and assist with service restoration efforts during production outages.</div> </li> <li> <div>Escalate complex issues to senior engineers while providing accurate documentation and diagnostics.</div> </li> <li> <div>Participate in root cause analysis activities following service-impacting incidents</div> </li> <li>Implement routine network configuration changes following established procedures.</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Perform basic firewall policy modifications and access control changes. What you will have</li> </ul> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">5+ years of experience supporting enterprise, service provider, or data center network environments.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Understanding of: TCP/IP, DNS, Routing and switching fundamentals, VLANs and network segmentation, Firewall concepts, VPN technologies </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Understand routing protocols and route troubleshooting concepts.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience using network monitoring, logging, and observability platforms to identify, investigate, and respond to infrastructure issues.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience reviewing system and device logs to assist with troubleshooting and incident response activities.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience responding to operational incidents and working within established incident management processes.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience troubleshooting network, application, database, DNS, and service connectivity issues in collaboration with service providers, cloud providers, vendors, and internal technical teams.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to perform network troubleshooting and isolate issues across routing, switching, firewall, load balancing, and cloud-connected environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to follow operational procedures in a highly controlled production environment</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to participate in on-call support rotation and monthly maintenance.</li> </ul>   Nice to have <ul> <li style="line-height: 1.2; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Familiarity with Linux-based systems.</li> <li style="line-height: 1.2; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Exposure to modern data center networking architectures, including Leaf-Spine fabric designs.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Familiarity with data center networking technologies such as: Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN) Ethernet VPN (EVPN)</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Understanding of overlay and underlay networking concepts within modern data center environments.
