<p class="p1"><strong>Role Description</strong></p> <p class="p2">We are seeking an exceptional Sr. Engineer to lead the development of dexterous robot end-effectors.</p> <p class="p2">In this role you will:</p> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li3">Own the full product development cycle for dexterous manipulation end-effectors.</li> <li class="li3">Brainstorm and prototype innovative concepts for dexterous end-effectors ranging from simple two-fingered grippers to multi-fingered humanoid hands.</li> <li class="li3">Work closely with our business development, simulation, controls, software, testing, and industrial design teams to define use-cases, performance requirements, and packaging.</li> <li class="li3">Develop high-level strategies and system architectures for dexterous manipulation systems ranging from end-effectors, tele-op training systems, and data collection devices.</li> <li class="li3">Test and evaluate existing grippers, end-effectors, sensors, and data-collection devices.</li> <li class="li3">Support assembly, integration, and testing of robotic hardware.</li> </ul> <p class="p1"><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li3">5+ years of experience developing high performance robotic systems.</li> <li class="li3">BS, MS, or Phd in mechanical engineering, robotics, mechatronics, or similar field.</li> <li class="li3">Experience designing and developing dexterous manipulation systems.</li> <li class="li3">Experience with electromechanical integration, including motors, sensors, servo drives, speed reducers, electronics packaging, and wiring.</li> <li class="li3">Self-starter attitude with strong ability to identify problems, prioritize them, then plan and execute working solutions.</li> <li class="li3">Enthusiasm for working in a fast paced startup environment and eagerness to support the team on a variety of topics.</li> </ul>
