<img src="https://we-work-remotely.imgix.net/logos/0171/5615/logo.gif?ixlib=rails-4.0.0&w=50&h=50&dpr=2&fit=fill&auto=compress" /> <p> <strong>Headquarters:</strong> US, Sherman Oaks, CA <br /><strong>URL:</strong> <a href="http://iconplc.com">http://iconplc.com</a> </p> <div>Sr Director, PV (Post-Marketing) - Western USA- Remote<br><p>ICON is a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation united by a mission to bring new medicines and treatments to patients faster.</p><br><p>As a values-driven organisation, integrity, collaboration, agility, and inclusion are at the heart of how we work and interact with each other, customers, patients and suppliers.</p><br><p>As a<b> Senior Director, Pharmacovigilance at ICON</b> you will be responsible for the supporting strategy and growth withing ICON's <b>post-marketing t</b>eam while also providing key operational leadership.</p><p></p><p><b>What You Will Do:</b></p><p></p><p>You will direct pharmacovigilance and drug safety activities, ensuring quality, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives.<br><br>Key responsibilities include:</p><ul><li><p><span>Expand and enhance current services with a focus on innovation and introducing fresh perspectives.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Build strong client relationships to drive customer satisfaction, while maintaining high quality standards across all departmental activities through effective training, oversight, and resolution of quality issues.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Drive efficiency and productivity to maximize revenue and optimize costs, while supporting new business development and ensuring the profitability of ongoing work through effective management of change orders.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Developing and implementing comprehensive pharmacovigilance strategies that align with ICON Plc's goals and regulatory requirements.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Leading and managing pharmacovigilance teams to ensure effective safety monitoring, reporting, and compliance.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in pharmacovigilance.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support safety assessments and risk management activities.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Staying current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging practices to continually improve pharmacovigilance processes and strategies.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Providing strategic leadership and guidance to enhance the overall safety profile of our products and support business objectives.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Partnering with Business Development and the rest of the ICON organization, as required, to ensure continued growth of the service area</span></p></li><li><p><span>Partnering with clients, directly or through the management team, to understand their needs and devise and implement solutions that respond to those needs, anticipating those needs where possible</span></p></li><li><p><span>Serving as project director for assigned projects and programs, as applicable</span></p></li><li><p><span>Leading and present at meetings and conferences as required</span></p></li><li><p><span>Planning and managing resources proactively and in alignment with internal guidelines and contractual obligation to maximize client’s satisfaction within the project allocated budget</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Your Profile:</b></p><p></p><p>You will bring significant pharmacovigilance and drug safety experience, with a track record of building high-performing teams and delivering results.<br><br>Required qualifications and experience:</p><ul><li><p><span>Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare-related field; advanced degree preferred</span></p></li><li><p><span>Extensive experience in pharmacovigilance, with a proven track record of managing safety operations and regulatory compliance.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including experience in managing teams and influencing cross-functional initiatives.</span></p></li><li><p><span>A strong understanding of the post-marketing pharmacovigilance regulations, safety reporting requirements, and risk management practices.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong grasp of financial drivers (profitability, cost control, margins) and proven ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver projects aligned with sound financial and operational practices, ensuring optimal efficiency.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Willingness to travel as required (approximately 15%)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Must be based in the Western United States</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>#LI-MN1</span></p><p><span>#LI-Remote</span></p><br><p>Employment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.</p><br><p><b>Rewards &amp;
