Our Product Analytics team sits at the heart of that transformation — empowering our Product, Engineering, and Design teams with the insights they need to build magical experiences for fans and powerful tools for our partners.</p> <p>We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join this team. This is a high-impact individual contributor role for someone who thrives on ambiguity, knows how to connect business strategy to product and marketing data, and has a passion for identifying the most meaningful opportunities to improve user and business outcomes.</p> <h3><strong>What you'll do</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Partner closely with product, design, engineering, and marketing to shape team roadmaps by sizing opportunities, evaluating impact, and synthesizing complex data into actionable narratives</li> <li>Independently lead analytical efforts, from opportunity sizing to experimental design and deep-dive diagnostics, using both structured and unstructured data</li> <li>Serve as a strategic thought partner in product development planning by contextualizing analytics with broader company strategy and market trends</li> <li>Create or improve key datasets and contribute to our analytical tooling ecosystem (e.g. dbt, Hex, Mixpanel) to ensure we can answer today’s questions and tomorrow’s</li> <li>Frame and evaluate experiments using industry-best methodologies to isolate causal effects and interpret noisy data</li> <li>Mentor peers in analysis design, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement — even without direct management responsibilities</li> <li>Represent analytics in leadership forums, shaping cross-functional discussions and ensuring analytics is embedded in SeatGeek’s most important product decisions</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What you have</strong></h3> <ul> <li>4+ years of experience working in analytics, data science, or adjacent roles — preferably in tech, ecommerce marketplaces, or consumer products</li> <li>Experience working on engagement loops or retention strategy</li> <li>Deep fluency in SQL and comfort with Python or R for exploratory analysis and modeling</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to own ambiguous problem spaces, from framing questions to delivering recommendations</li> <li>A systems-thinking mindset — you enjoy mapping out how product and business components interact and impact fan experience</li> <li>Experience with A/B testing, experimentation platforms, and interpreting complex product behaviors through data</li> <li>Strong communication skills — able to simplify complex analyses, defend methodology choices, and inspire action through insights</li> <li>Collaborative mindset and emotional intelligence — you’re someone stakeholders seek out for thought partnership, not just dashboards</li> <li>Excited to contribute to a team culture centered around curiosity, humility, and impact</li> <li>Bonus points for prior experience in B2B2C businesses, experience contributing to or building data infrastructure (e.g. event tracking, dbt modeling), and/or familiarity with leading marketing tech</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Our stack</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Scheduling/Orchestration: Airflow</li> <li>ETL: Fivetran, Python and dbt</li> <li>Data Warehouse: Redshift</li> <li>Event Stream: mParticle</li> <li>Experimentation: Eppo</li> <li>Product Analytics: Mixpanel</li> <li>Dashboarding: Looker & Hex </li> <li>Version control: Gitlab</li> <li>AI tooling: Claude Code, Hex Agent</li> <li>Required languages: SQL (Python nice-to-have)</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Perks</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Equity stake</li> <li>Flexible work environment, allowing you to work as many days a week in the office as you’d like or 100% remotely</li> <li>A WFH stipend to support your home office setup</li> <li>Unlimited PTO</li> <li>Up to 16 weeks of fully-paid family leave </li> <li>401(k) matching </li> <li>Student loan matching program</li> <li>Health, vision, dental, and life insurance</li> <li>Up to $25k towards family building, reproductive health services and Gender-affirming care</li> <li>$500 per year for wellness expenses</li> <li>Subscriptions to Headspace (meditation), Headspace Care (therapy), and One Medical</li> <li>$360 per quarter to spend on tickets to live events</li> <li>Annual subscription to Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon music</li> </ul> <p> </p> <hr> <p class="p1"><em>The salary range for this role is $126,000 - $188,000 <span style="font-weight: 400;">USD</span>. This role is also equity eligible.
