Mozilla is seeking a Senior Content Creator based in Germany to produce standout social content for our German Firefox channels. You'll be responsible for the full content life cycle. This covers conceptualising, scripting, filming, and editing both trending and evergreen short-form videos. You will translate top-performing content from other markets. You will also manage the community on @firefox_de across TikTok, Instagram, and Threads. Connecting with German creators to add authentic new voices to the Firefox story is another key task.As a member of Mozilla's content team, you'll bring a high level of craft and creative judgment to everything you make. You'll work with significant creative autonomy, producing content that connects Firefox to German culture — adapting quickly, staying sharp, and consistently setting the standard for what great looks like in this market.</div> <div class="gmail_default" style="font-size: small;"> About You You're a storyteller and fluent German speaker with a sharp instinct for what makes content perform. You are dedicated to the German digital landscape, with knowledge of the creators, platforms, memes, and moments that matter. You're "extremely online," move fast without sacrificing quality, and thrive at the intersection of content, community, and culture.You're a skilled, self-sufficient creator who can take a brief and run with it. You bring strong creative judgment and executional excellence from concept through final cut. You know how to connect product moments to cultural moments, how to build authentic communities, and how to partner with the right voices to make content that genuinely resonates.</div> <div class="gmail_default" style="font-size: small;"> What You'll Do Content Production <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Ideate, script, film, and edit high-performing short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Threads, spanning both trending moments and evergreen editorial priorities</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Translate and adapt global content for the German market, identifying which formats, tones, and moments land locally</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Spot cultural trends and surface timely opportunities to the team, helping Firefox show up in the right conversations at the right time</li> </ul> Community Management <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Own real-time community management across @firefox_de channels, monitoring conversations, responding to users, and identifying moments worth engaging with</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Feed audience insights back to the broader content team to inform ongoing work</li> </ul> Creator & UGC Partnerships <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Review, provide feedback on, and help edit German-language creator and UGC content</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Build and champion relationships with German content creators, identifying the right voices to authentically tell the Firefox story</li> </ul> What You Bring <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;">German fluency (written and spoken) — you can craft culturally sharp, nuanced German copy, not just translate it</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">5+ years of hands-on social content production, with a strong background creating content that performs on TikTok, Instagram, and short-form video platforms</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Demonstrated experience filming and editing short-form video content, with proficiency in mobile-first editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar)</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Outstanding writing and editorial skills in German and English — you craft clear, engaging, platform-native copy with ease</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">A strong portfolio of social content with measurable engagement growth, ideally for a consumer-facing brand or digital product</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Deep knowledge of the German digital landscape — the platforms, the creators, the cultural moments, and the audiences that matter</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Passion for Mozilla's mission: a belief in an internet that prioritizes choice, control, and privacy</li> </ul> Nice to Have <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Experience in other European markets and languages</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Familiarity with social analytics tools and a data-informed approach to content optimization</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Experience at a tech company or in the digital privacy/security space</li> </ul> About Mozilla When you work at Mozilla, you give yourself a chance to make a difference in the lives of web users everywhere.
