Through our subsidiaries, Moniepoint Inc. processes over $250 billion in digital payment transaction value annually.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>About the role</strong></p> <p>Sr Associate Test Engineer - Test Automation & Tools Development<br>We are seeking a highly skilled Testing Tools Development Engineer to design, develop, and maintain<br>advanced testing frameworks and automation tools. This role focuses on building scalable, reusable, and<br>integrated testing infrastructure that supports functional, performance, and security testing across diverse<br>platforms and environments.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p><strong>Tool Development & Framework Design: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop reusable libraries, plugins, and CLI tools to support test execution, reporting, and integration<br>with CI/CD pipelines.</li> <li>Build scalable test harnesses for distributed systems, microservices, mobile native and cloud SaaS<br>applications.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Automation & Scripting:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Write robust, maintainable code in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript to automate test workflows.</li> <li>Integrate tools with version control systems (Git), CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, Harness), and artifact repositories</li> </ul> <p><strong>DevOps & Infrastructure Integration:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Containerize tools using Docker and orchestrate test environments using Kubernetes.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Collaboration & Enablement:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partner with QE, SRE/DevOps, and development teams to understand testing pain points and deliver<br>tooling solutions.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications Required:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related engineering discipline.</li> <li>5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Tools development</li> <li>Strong programming skills in Java with a focus on tooling and automation</li> <li>Extend and customize open-source tools such as:<br>o Functional/UI Testing: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium<br>o API Testing: Postman/Bruno, REST Assured, Karate</li> <li>Integrate testing tools with:<br>o Test Management & Issue Tracking: Jira, Qmetry<br>o Reporting & Analytics: ReportPortal, Allure, ExtentReports, Grafana<br>o CI/CD Pipelines: Jenkins, Harness, ArgoCD, GitLab, SonarQube<br>o Device Farms: BrowserStack, LambdaTest for cross-platform and mobile testing</li> <li>Strong command of relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases, along with experience in publish-subscribe messaging systems like Kafka.</li> <li>Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, gRPC, WebSockets, & event-driven or asynchronous architectures.</li> <li>Well-versed in Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies, with a focus on iterative development and continuous delivery.</li> <li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p>
