The Role Lark Health is looking for a talented Senior Accountant to support the Operations and Finance teams. You will work with multiple executive stakeholders to define and deliver insightful metrics, analyses, and operational finance support. The successful candidate will possess a self-starter attitude with keen strategic thinking plus analytical abilities with strong communication and project management skills; wants to work, support and thrive in a key position that has an excellent career path within an enterprise SaaS business. What You’ll Do Support design and implementation of scalable account invoicing and medical claims reimbursement reconciliation processes that support the needs of a rapidly growing business to build efficiencies Retrieves, downloads and reconciles all electronic remittance files from claims billing platform Process daily bank deposit files and ensures that payments are properly allocated to the appropriate accounts and contractual adjustments are applied accordingly Review and reconcile posting errors daily. Research and resolve unidentified or unapplied payments Work closely with management, clearinghouse and/or Client to resolve payment issues Investigate and resolve any irregularities or inquiries Continuously review and revise account and claims billing review processes for new clients Provide billing related decision support to business leaders Provide recommendations to solve issues and improve the strategic, operational, and financial model of the business Support communication and reporting across multiple teams, including Account Management, Data Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Business Operations Maintain monthly account billing (client invoicing) and conduct reconciliations as required Assisting in general financial operations management and analysis Perform data entry and administrative duties What You’ll Need Must be well versed in GAAP revenue recognition Preferred experience with QBO, NetSuite, Intacct and medical claims billing (Availity / Clearinghouse) platforms Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task with limited supervision A well-rounded top performer, combination of analytical and communication skills, execution-oriented and attention to timelines Must have superior analytical skills, in addition to strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Ability to present financial analysis in a clear and compelling message Experience working with KPIs and OKRs Energy and creativity are key characteristics that describe you and the projects you lead You're an app fanatic, positively curious and a technology enthusiast BS/BA in Business, Economics, Finance or Accounting or equivalent work experience 5-7 years of corporate finance or accounting experience with SaaS Working at Lark Lark operates as a remote organization, requiring all employees to reside within the United States.
