<p> <strong>Headquarters:</strong> </p> <p>We are looking for a Salesforce Platform Lead for a global company. Their goal is to own the Salesforce platform as a product, improving release health, security, engineering standards, reusable patterns, and AI-assisted delivery.</p><p><strong>General Information</strong></p><p>Location: Remote. Talents from the USA or Canada.</p><p><strong>French/English bilingual candidates are preferred</strong> for the Montreal hub.</p><p>Overlap: 6hs with East Coast time zone, USA</p><p>Commitment: full-time</p><p>Length: 12+ month</p><p><strong>Required Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>6–10 years of Salesforce administration and development experience with platform ownership responsibilities</li><li>Expert-level Salesforce Flow experience</li><li>Solid hands-on experience with Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)</li><li>Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud and Service Cloud</li><li>Strong Salesforce release management experience</li><li>Experience with CI/CD for Salesforce environments</li><li>Strong knowledge of Salesforce security, sharing, permissions, and platform governance</li><li>Experience defining and enforcing coding and configuration standards through hands-on pull request reviews</li><li>Experience managing production Salesforce environments, including releases, sandbox strategy, backup, and recovery</li><li>Experience designing reusable Flow, LWC, and integration patterns for development teams</li><li>Experience leading or supporting P1 production incident response</li><li>Hands-on experience using AI coding copilots and agents in Salesforce development workflows</li><li>Experience with Salesforce metadata automation, test generation, org discovery, and AI-assisted pull request review</li><li>Ability to validate AI-generated code and automation before production deployment</li></ul><p><strong>Optional Skills (not mandatory):</strong></p><ul><li>French and English bilingual proficiency</li><li>Salesforce Administrator certification</li><li>Salesforce Platform App Builder certification</li><li>Salesforce Platform Developer certification</li><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience</li></ul><p><strong>Deliverables</strong></p><ul><li>Own the Salesforce production environment, including releases, security, sandbox strategy, backup, and recovery</li><li>Define Salesforce coding and configuration standards and participate directly in pull request reviews</li><li>Build reusable reference patterns for Salesforce Flow, LWC, and integrations</li><li>Lead P1 incident response, including triage, remediation, and pairing with engineers on fixes</li><li>Drive a release cadence of two weeks or less in collaboration with QA and product stakeholders</li><li>Allocate and manage ongoing technical-debt capacity, targeting approximately 10–30% of engineering capacity</li><li>Own the AI-assisted Salesforce development toolchain, including coding copilots, test generation, org discovery agents, and pull request pre-review</li><li>Measure developer effective capacity when using AI-assisted workflows and identify friction caused by manual delivery processes</li><li>Automate operational runbooks and release-note generation while maintaining human approval for production-risk decisions</li><li>Use AI copilots and agents daily to accelerate discovery, development, testing, and documentation while remaining accountable for production decisions</li></ul><p><br></p> <p><strong>To apply:</strong> <a href="https://weworkremotely.com/remote-jobs/toptal-salesforce-platform-lead-for-global-industrial-company">https://weworkremotely.com/remote-jobs/toptal-salesforce-platform-lead-for-global-industrial-company</a></p>
