As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a Sales Team Lead to organize, lead, and develop our sales team while ensuring consistent performance and predictable growth.<br>This role is focused on team leadership, performance management, and enablement, with the expectation that the <strong>Sales Team Lead</strong> stays close enough to execution to effectively support team results when needed. You’ll report to the Director of Sales and work closely with Marketing, Implementation, and Customer Success to ensure a strong and consistent client acquisition experience.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Team Leadership & Organization</li> <li>Lead, organize, and scale the sales team to meet growth targets.</li> <li>Own hiring, onboarding, and ramp-up of new sales representatives.</li> <li>Define clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations across the team.</li> <li>Build and maintain sales playbooks, scripts, and documented processes.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Coaching, Training & Quality Assurance</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance improvement plans.</li> <li>Run regular call reviews, QA sessions, and one-on-one coaching.</li> <li>Ensure high and consistent quality across cold calls, discovery calls, demo confirmations, and demos.</li> <li>Identify skill gaps and address them through targeted training and enablement.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Performance Management & Reporting</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own team-level performance metrics and reporting (pipeline health, activity, conversion rates, revenue).</li> <li>Conduct regular performance reviews for individual reps and the team.</li> <li>Document performance trends, risks, and improvement actions.</li> <li>Be accountable for team results, with compensation tied to the team meeting defined performance criteria.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Supporting Sales Execution</strong></p> <ul> <li>Spend time reviewing and shadowing sales reps, particularly during the first months in the role, to understand workflows, strengths, and gaps.</li> <li>Step in selectively to support sales activities when it directly helps team performance (e.g., onboarding periods, coverage gaps, or complex opportunities).</li> <li>Reinforce best practices by example, without owning a permanent individual quota or day-to-day rep responsibilities.</li> <li>Use hands-on involvement to inform coaching, process improvements, and training—not as the primary focus of the role.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partner with Marketing to improve lead quality and funnel performance.</li> <li>Work closely with Implementation and Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and aligned expectations.</li> <li>Share customer feedback and market insights to improve messaging and sales strategy.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You’ll Bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales.</li> <li>Experience leading, mentoring, or managing sales representatives.</li> <li>Strong understanding of the full sales cycle and modern sales processes.</li> <li>Proven ability to coach and improve individual and team performance.</li> <li>Comfort managing performance, accountability, and difficult conversations.</li> <li>Data-driven approach to sales metrics and reporting.</li> <li>Excellent communication and organizational skills.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in the landscaping, arbor, or field services industries.</li> <li>Background in fast-growing or scaling SaaS companies.</li> <li>Experience building onboarding or training programs.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive base salary + team-performance-based bonus.</li> <li>Fully remote role with flexibility across North American time zones.</li> <li>Opportunity to lead and shape a growing sales team.</li> <li>Direct impact on company growth and sales operations.</li> <li>The chance to work in the green industry, helping tree care and landscaping businesses operate more efficiently while supporting healthier urban forests and a more sustainable planet.</li> </ul> <p><strong>To apply:</strong> <a href="https://weworkremotely.com/remote-jobs/arbostar-sales-team-lead">https://weworkremotely.com/remote-jobs/arbostar-sales-team-lead</a></p>
