You will work closely with the CTO to plan, develop and execute test strategies that result in the delivery of a robust product. As we grow, the opportunity to grow into a lead role will be available.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>We dont believe that automated testing is the only way to release robust software. Therefore, we are looking for someone that can design and implement automated and manual testing processes internally.<br><br><strong><em>Compensation range:&nbsp; $55,000 - $80,000 USD</em></strong></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>Senior QA Engineer Responsibilities</strong></div> <ul> <li>Plan, develop and execute product quality strategies and ensure product correctness before launch.</li> <li>Work closely with the CTO to collect necessary information about the QA of the product, and also provide feedback on quality issues.</li> <li>Leverage automation for scalable solutions to prevent regressions and ensure reliability of the product.</li> </ul> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></div> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.</li> <li>Experience of industry standard test automation tools &amp; automation frameworks.</li> <li>4+ years of quality Engineering and/or test engineering experience.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with planning, designing, executing tests and knowledge of performance and stress testing.</li> <li>Experience in project management approaches, tools and phases of a project life cycle.</li> <li>Experience implementing and maintaining quality test automation for both RESTful APIs and web applications.</li> <li>Experience in JavaScript, TypeScript or equivalent coding language.</li> </ul> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></div> <ul> <li>Experience being creative and having initiative to improve product quality coverage and effectiveness.</li> <li>Experience thriving in an ambiguous environment that demands constant self-prioritization.</li> <li>Understanding of the Event-Driven and Serverless architecture.</li> <li>Experience with ETL/ELT product testing.</li> <li>Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).</li> </ul> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>What we offer</strong></div> <ul> <li>Remote forever!</li> <li>Flexible work hours.</li> <li>Unlimited PTO!</li> <li>Plenty of opportunities for career progression and professional development.</li> </ul> <p><strong>To apply:</strong> <a href="https://weworkremotely.com/remote-jobs/cortes-23-qa-engineer">https://weworkremotely.com/remote-jobs/cortes-23-qa-engineer</a></p>
