If you align with our core values—Stay Curious, Have Empathy, and Be Accountable—and are ready to make a significant impact, we encourage you to apply.</div>Your Role:  As a Product Manager - Accounts, you will be responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Alpaca's core account management and identity verification systems. You will be the voice of our partners, working to create a flexible and compliant global account infrastructure. This role is critical to enabling financial institutions around the world to seamlessly and securely onboard and manage their end-users. You will work closely with engineering, legal, compliance, and business development teams to navigate the complexities of different jurisdictions and deliver a world-class account experience. Things You Get To Do: <ul> <li>Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Alpaca's account opening and identity verification services</li> <li>Manage the lifecycle of various account structures, including fully disclosed, omnibus, and omnibus with sub-accounting, to meet the diverse needs of our global B2B clients.</li> <li>Develop and enhance features such as the ability to open accounts for entities, create sub-accounts for distinct trading strategies, and manage multiple account types (e.g., self-directed, robo, retirement)</li> <li>Lead the strategy for KYC and identity verification, supporting various models from partner-led KYC to integrated solutions with third-party providers</li> <li>Collaborate with legal, compliance, and regional business teams to navigate the complexities of different jurisdictions, ensuring our account systems meet local licensing, data management, and financial requirements</li> <li>Author detailed product requirement documents (PRDs) and user stories to ensure clarity and alignment across all teams</li> <li>Work with go-to-market teams to enable adoption of new account features and onboarding flows</li> <li>Define and analyze key metrics such as onboarding success rates, account funding times, and KYC pass-through rates to measure success and identify areas for improvement</li> </ul> Who You Are (Must-Haves): <ul> <li>At least 5 years of product management experience, with a focus on B2B, fintech, or complex platform products</li> <li>Experience with products related to user onboarding, identity verification (KYC/AML), or account management systems</li> <li>A strong understanding of the operational and regulatory complexities in financial services, especially concerning client onboarding and account lifecycle management</li> <li>Proven ability to understand complex technical and business requirements and work effectively with engineering, legal, and compliance teams</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders</li> <li>Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics tools to track product performance and make informed decisions</li> <li>A genuine passion for financial markets and a strong desire to build products that empower developers and democratize access to financial services</li> <li>Experience working in an agile development environment</li> </ul> Who You Might Be (Nice-to-Haves): <ul> <li>A background in engineering</li> <li>Direct experience working in the fintech or brokerage industry</li> <li>Experience working in a globally distributed, remote-first company</li> <li>Familiarity with different brokerage account structures (e.g., omnibus, fully disclosed)</li> <li>Experience with global identity verification providers and regulatory technology (RegTech)</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><h3>How We Take Care of You:</h3> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;">Competitive Salary & Stock Options</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Health Benefits</li> <li style="font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;">New Hire Home-Office Setup: One-time USD $500</li> <li style="font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;">Monthly Stipend: USD $150 per month via a Brex Card</li> </ul> Alpaca is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace dedicated to pursuing and hiring a diverse workforce. <a href="https://files.alpaca.markets/disclosures/AlpacaRecruitmentPrivacyPolicy.pdf">Recruitment Privacy Policy</a></div>
