Overview AfterQuery builds the data and evaluation systems that power frontier AI models. Every leading AI lab uses our datasets and reinforcement learning environments to encode and scale real-world expertise. As a Product Manager, you’ll work across Engineering, Operations, and Research to identify the most important problems in the business and turn them into scalable products and systems. You’ll own problems end-to-end — understanding user needs, deciding what should be built, working closely with engineers through execution, and making sure what we ship actually solves the underlying problem. Responsibilities Work closely with engineers, operators, and internal users to deeply understand their workflows and pain points Identify the highest-leverage product and infrastructure problems across the company Turn ambiguous problems into clear product direction and technical requirements Partner with Engineering to ship products and systems quickly Balance immediate business needs with long-term scalability and maintainability Own product areas end-to-end, from problem discovery through launch and iteration Use data, user feedback, and business context to prioritize what we build Help standardize and improve workflows as AfterQuery scales Required Qualifications Strong technical fluency; prior experience in software engineering, ML, or data is a strong plus High ownership and ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments Strong product judgment and ability to identify the underlying problem behind user requests Excellent communication skills and ability to work across technical and operational teams Bias toward action and comfort moving quickly with incomplete information Strong user empathy and willingness to spend significant time understanding how people actually work Ability to synthesize fragmented feedback into clear priorities and product direction Company Benefits (For Eligible Employees): Health Insurance: Medical, Vision, Dental 401(k) with Employer Match Daily Meals: Daily UberEats Stipend Monthly Wellness Stipend Commute Covered We are an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a workplace free from discrimination and harassment.
