References to KKR’s investments may include the activities of its sponsored funds and insurance subsidiaries.</p></div><p><strong>POSITION OVERVIEW</strong></p> <p>KKR is seeking a Compliance Officer to join KKR’s Global Compliance team with a focus on KKR’s US Private Markets business, including Private Equity and Real Assets. The successful candidate will support Firm-wide compliance operations and initiatives by managing policies, processes, controls, disclosure obligations, technology systems, and partnering with business leaders to identify and mitigate legal, regulatory, operational and reputational risks.</p> <p>This role is based in KKR’s New York office and reports to the Chief Compliance Officer for KKR Real Assets.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES </strong></p> <ul> <li>Providing real time advice to KKR’s private markets businesses and investment professionals on daily investing and other business activities, including the application of KKR policy and best practice guidelines in consultation with KKR’s broader Compliance team</li> <li>Directly support senior colleagues on the Private Markets Compliance team</li> <li>Establishing and/or enhancing internal compliance desktop procedures and policies to demonstrate controls infrastructure, appropriate oversight and practical application</li> <li>Monitoring compliance with regulatory guidance for all aspects of the KKR’s private markets investing business, including assisting with transactional due diligence and managing anti-bribery, anti-corruption and anti-money laundering processes for fund transactions, trading (including best execution), investor reporting, and regulatory filings</li> <li>Conduct pre-trade reviews and analyses of potential sources of MNPI</li> <li>Assist in the review and monitoring of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)</li> <li>Ongoing management of restricted lists to manage MNPI and trading risk</li> <li>Ensuring compliance with investment allocations policies and procedures, including SEC exemptive relief for co-investing for certain real estate products</li> <li>Supporting integration of new private markets business strategies into KKR’s existing Compliance and operational infrastructure</li> <li>Exercising oversight of KKR’s expert network policies and procedures</li> <li>Supporting various other aspect of the KKR Private Markets investment compliance program</li> <li>Assisting in preparing responses to regulatory inquiries as necessary</li> <li>Coordinating with colleagues in Legal/Compliance and other control groups on initiatives including risks assessments, testing and audits</li> <li>Preparing and delivering relevant trainings to business partners</li> </ul> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Undergraduate degree and three to six years of experience in investment management compliance. At least one year of experience with Private Equity, Infrastructure and-or Real Estate investing strategies, finance, and compliance is preferred.</li> <li>Familiarity with and ability to contribute to policy and procedure drafting, training business partners, regulatory filings and change management, and testing and risk assessments.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience with compliance matters in the investment management context.</li> <li>Subject matter expertise and/or substantial familiarity with relevant compliance topics.</li> <li>A strong stakeholder-focused orientation with the drive and enthusiasm required to achieve results and assume stakeholder satisfaction.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels, with both internal and external parties.</li> <li>Maturity, presence, sound judgment, and ability to form and express opinions effectively to cross-divisional teams including senior management.</li> <li>Self-starter with strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to independently manage multiple projects in a collaborative manner with multiple stakeholders through to completion in a dynamic and changing environment.</li> <li>Accountable, with a strong sense of professionalism and integrity.</li> <li>Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and other data analytics tools.</li> <li>Highly organized, efficient and able to work to tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.</li> <li>Comfort using AI-powered tools to improve productivity and quality of work</li> <li>Curiosity about and openness to adopting emerging AI technologies in day-to-day workflows</li> <li>Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and relevance</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description">This is the expected annual base salary range for this New York-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role.
