Our team includes clinicians, technologists, operators, and problem-solvers working together to make high-quality care more accessible for families nationwide.</p></div><h3><strong>About The Role: </strong></h3> <p><strong>Your north star:</strong><strong> </strong>The Practice Operations Lead is an execution-focused operational leader dedicated to supporting, scaling, and optimizing specific clinical disciplines (e.g., Nursing, Obstetrics Providers, Pediatrics, Behavioral Health, etc.). This role ensures our clinicians have the operational infrastructure, clear workflows, and change management support they need to succeed.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partnering directly with Clinical Leads, this role owns the day-to-day operational support of the care team, driving program and Individual Clinician metrics and ensuring high-quality, standardized care delivery.</li> <li>Own the operations, documentation, and continuous evaluation of day-to-day practice workflows. Ensure workflows are optimized to reduce administrative burden while meeting clinical standards.</li> <li>Lead operational change management for the clinical teams, in collaboration with clinical leads. Translate practice-wide changes into clear, actionable guidance and ensure smooth rollouts of new tools, strategies, or team structures.</li> <li>Drive accountability for the operational, program, and individual clinician metrics (e.g., Q2 Dyad Metrics, Individual Clinician [IC] Metrics).</li> <li>Serve as the primary operational partner for clinical leaders, unblocking day-to-day operational hurdles and managing resource/support allocation, where applicable.</li> <li>Partner closely with Outcomes Operations Leads to operationalize solutions when plan-specific deep dives highlight a need for workflow tweaks, coaching, or supplemental list management within a specific clinical function.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who you are:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years operations or consulting experience, ideally having worked within healthcare delivery or a high-growth startup</li> <li>Extremely data-driven and an analytical thinker - you love digging through data to solve complex problems</li> <li>Results-oriented operator</li> <li>Meticulous attention to detail and highly organized</li> <li>Comfort with ambiguity</li> <li>Ability to work cross-functionally with clinicians and technical teams</li> <li>Passionate about maternal and child health</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Why you should join our team</strong></h3> <p>By joining Pomelo, you will get in on the ground floor of a fast-moving, well-funded, and mission-driven startup that always puts the patient first. This role is also eligible for equity, giving you an ownership stake in Pomelo’s mission.
