About Tessera Labs Tessera is an AI-native platform for enterprise transformation. The multi-agent platform delivers governed execution across ERP, CRM, HCM, and finance systems, cutting timelines from years to weeks and costs by more than half. Built on deep expertise across Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, Workday, and other systems of record, Tessera address the scope a system integrator would have traditionally taken up with the speed of execution and efficiency of an AI-native platform. For decades, enterprises have struggled with fragmented business systems, where migrations have consumed hundreds of millions of dollars, data stayed inconsistent and unreliable, and business processes slowed under manual review. Tessera was founded to change that, for Oracle and every other system enterprises depend on. The name itself — a tessera, a single tile in a mosaic — reflects our mission: unifying the disparate pieces of the enterprise into a coherent whole. Tessera is an AI-powered, multi-agent platform that harmonizes systems and lets teams work in plain English. Role Summary We are looking for an Oracle Technical Project Manager to run Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Fusion Cloud engagements — several at the same time — from kick-off to go-live. Our architects decide what the solution should be; you make sure it gets built, tested, converted and cut over on the date we committed to, and that the customer can see exactly where it stands at every point in between. This is a technical project management role, and that is deliberate. You need to know Oracle delivery well enough to manage the deliverables themselves, not just the dates: the RICEFW inventory, functional and technical specifications, configuration moving between environments, data conversion mock cycles, integration builds, test cycles and the cutover runbook. A project manager who cannot tell whether a mock conversion actually reconciled, or why a Fusion quarterly update threatens the test plan, will report green until the week it turns red. Most of our customers are not simply upgrading Oracle. They come from SAP ECC, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, Infor or home-grown systems, and many run EBS and Fusion side by side. Our engagements are also shorter and sharper than a traditional system integrator’s: proofs of value measured in weeks, with success criteria agreed up front and evidence of value expected at the end. You will run these engagements with Tessera’s AI agents as part of the team, and you need to be genuinely fluent in using AI. The platform produces a large share of the analysis, specifications, configuration, code and test material. Your job is to plan around that: build review and approval gates into the plan, know where AI output needs a domain expert’s eye, track the value it delivers against the manual baseline, and use AI tools yourself to plan, report and spot risk faster. What the platform cannot do is hold a steering committee to a decision or tell a customer that the date is at risk. That is the role. Two outcomes define the job. The first is engagements that land: on the date, inside the scope, with the customer’s sign-off and a reference we can use. The second is that each one makes the next easier to run, because what you learn goes into our delivery standards and the platform rather than staying in your head. Key Responsibilities 1. Engagement Planning and Governance (25%) Own the plan on several concurrent Oracle engagements: scope, phases, milestones, dependencies, resourcing and the critical path — from discovery and fit-gap through build, testing, data conversion, cutover and hypercare. Set up and run governance: weekly checkpoints, daily syncs during execution, steering committees, RAID logs and clear escalation paths — and report status the customer’s executives can trust. Manage scope, budget and commercial terms: burn and forecast against fixed-fee and time-and-materials engagements, change requests and change orders, with no surprises for the client partner or the customer. Agree success criteria for proofs of value up front and track them through to an evidence-based close-out. 2. Management of Technical Deliverables (35%) Own the RICEFW inventory (reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, forms and workflows) and drive each item through specification, build, review, test and sign-off. Manage functional and technical specifications, code and configuration as deliverables — with review gates, quality criteria and traceability from requirement to test. Plan and control environments and configuration movement: EBS instance strategy, cloning and patch windows (including R12.2 online patching); Fusion environment refreshes, Functional Setup Manager migrations and the quarterly update cycle. Run data conversion as a managed workstream: mock conversion cycles, reconciliation sign-off, defect tracking and readiness criteria for each load. Coordinate integration builds and third-party dependencies — banks, tax engines, payroll, EDI and legacy systems — and the testing between them. Lead test management (CRPs, SIT, UAT, regression for Fusion quarterly updates) with entry and exit criteria, defect triage cadence and go/no-go evidence. Plan and run cutover: an hour-by-hour runbook, rehearsals, go/no-go criteria, rollback and contingency plans, and hypercare. 3. AI-Enabled Delivery (20%) Plan engagements around AI-generated work: where the Tessera platform produces analysis, specifications, configuration, code and test scripts, and where human review and approval gates sit in the schedule. Work with Tessera’s Forward Deployed Engineers and domain SMEs to keep AI output grounded and validated, and escalate early when a deliverable needs expert attention. Measure and report the value AI delivers — time and effort saved against the manual baseline, quality of output, and adoption by the customer’s team. Use AI tools in your own work every day: drafting plans, status reports and meeting summaries, analysing risks and dependencies, and preparing steering committee material. Apply sound judgment on data privacy and security when AI is used on customer data, in line with the customer’s policies and our agreements. 4. Client Leadership, Standards and Pre-Sales (20%) Be the primary delivery counterpart for the customer’s program office and IT leadership, and build the trust that turns a proof of value into a follow-on engagement. Manage organisational change and readiness with the customer: training, communication and business sign-offs, so go-live is adopted, not just executed. Contribute to Tessera’s Oracle delivery standards — plan templates, RACI, governance packs, cutover runbooks and lessons learned — and feed field input to the platform team. Support pre-sales with delivery plans, staffing models, timelines and risk assessments for proposals and statements of work. Required Qualifications 12+ years in project or program management, including at least three full-lifecycle Oracle ERP implementations as project manager — covering both Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.x) and Oracle Fusion Cloud, at least one of each. At least one engagement where the customer moved to Oracle from a different ERP, such as SAP ECC, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft or Infor. Hands-on experience managing technical deliverables on Oracle implementations: RICEFW inventories, functional and technical specifications, configuration migration, data conversion mock cycles, integrations, test cycles and cutover runbooks. Working knowledge of Oracle delivery methods — Oracle Unified Method (OUM) for EBS and Oracle’s cloud implementation approach for Fusion — and of the Fusion quarterly update cycle and Oracle Support service request management. Practical, everyday fluency with AI: using generative AI and agentic tools in your own work, and experience — or a clear point of view — on planning and governing delivery where AI produces part of the work. Strong commercial and governance discipline: budgets, burn and forecast, change control, RAID management and steering committees. Senior client-facing presence: able to hold a steering committee, deliver bad news early and keep the relationship. Proven ability to run several engagements at once without losing control of any of them. Proven ability to learn a new AI platform quickly and become the person others ask. You will be expected to reach real fluency in the Tessera platform within your first months. Excellent verbal and written business English, with strong presentation ability to both business and technical audiences. Experience leading distributed (onshore, nearshore and offshore) delivery teams, with strong asynchronous communication discipline. Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Who This Role Is Not For If your project management stops at the plan and the status report, this is not the role — you will be expected to understand and manage the technical deliverables themselves. If you have run ERP programs but never an Oracle implementation through cutover, you will find the learning curve steep on our timelines. If you are sceptical of AI or prefer to keep it at arm’s length, you will struggle in a delivery model where AI agents produce a large share of the work. And if you want one long program with a scope someone else agreed, you will find several short, high-pressure engagements uncomfortable. Preferred Qualifications A technical or functional background in Oracle before moving into project management — for example as a developer, DBA, data conversion lead or module consultant. Experience running proofs of value or pilot engagements with defined success criteria and measured outcomes. Experience with AI or automation tooling in ERP delivery — code generation, test automation, data quality or documentation tools — and with measuring its impact. Agile or hybrid delivery experience, and tooling such as Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project or Confluence. PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP or SAFe certification. Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation certification or Oracle Cloud Success Navigator experience. Experience with large multi-country or multi-entity Oracle rollouts, and with system integrator and staffing partner management. Experience running engagements for US or European customers from a near-shore or offshore location, with strong ownership despite the time-zone gap. Spanish, Portuguese or German is a plus but not a must-have. First-Year Measures of Success Month 1: Fluent in the Tessera platform. Running at least one Oracle engagement with plan, governance, RAID log and success criteria agreed with the customer. Month 3: Running at least two engagements on plan, with technical deliverables, AI review gates and value metrics tracked and reported, and a first set of Tessera Oracle delivery templates in use across the team.
