Build something monumental for Healthcare! At Tandem Health we’re reimagining healthcare by putting clinicians first. Our platform - designed by clinicians, for clinicians - is built on deep insight into real-world pain points, with intuitive medical notes and workflows that truly support patient care. We’re a fast-scaling health-tech company backed by top investors and expanding globally. We move fast, stay curious, and believe building something that matters starts with an extraordinary team. If you're passionate about impact and innovation, we'd love to meet you! About the Role You care about building products that people actually use, not just apps that look good in a demo. In previous roles, you were likely the person who took a feature from idea to the App Store and made sure it kept working once real users got their hands on it. At Tandem, you'll own our mobile apps and shape where they go next. Our apps are newly launched and currently built around a web view, and we expect to move towards native over time. You'll play a key role in that journey: deciding what to build natively, when, and how, together with the team. Mobile will be your home base, but this is not a siloed role. You'll be a fullstack engineer at heart and will also help out across other products and parts of our platform, wherever your skills make the biggest difference. You move fast, but not carelessly. You work in a healthcare context where reliability, security and trust matter, and you know how to balance shipping quickly with building things that hold up. You care about the end user, whether that's a clinician between patients or a patient on the other side. This is a high-impact role where you'll not only ship features, but shape how we build and scale mobile at Tandem. What You'll Do Own and develop our mobile apps (iOS and Android) end-to-end, from design and implementation to release and maintenance. Build and improve the bridge between our web experience and native device capabilities. Own App Store and Google Play submissions, review and compliance processes, and release tooling. Diagnose and fix native-specific bugs and performance issues, from cold start to crash handling. Work across the stack on other products and platform features alongside the rest of the engineering team. Collaborate closely with product, design and clinicians to turn real-world needs into great user experiences. Help set the standard for how we build, test and ship mobile at Tandem. What You Bring Strong experience building and shipping mobile apps in production, preferably in a fast-moving SaaS environment. Hands-on experience with native development on iOS and/or Android (Swift, Kotlin or similar). Experience shipping and maintaining apps through the App Store and Google Play, including review and compliance cycles. Experience working with web views and the connection between web and native. A product mindset - you think in user outcomes, not just tickets and APIs. Strong ownership: you've worked in high-pace environments where you wore multiple hats. Strong communication skills and a collaborative, low-ego way of working. Bonus Points Experience working with healthcare systems or regulated environments Experience with push notifications, authentication flows or other native device integrations Experience with a gradual migration from web to native Familiarity with CI/CD and release tooling for mobile (e.g. Fastlane, TestFlight) Interest in AI products, especially in a healthcare context Experience building audio-related or real-time features on mobile Location We believe the best ideas happen when we're together. This role is based in our vibrant HQ in the Epicenter building in the heart of Stockholm where you will work primarily from our office to collaborate, connect, and build our culture.
