We are seeking a highly technical, hands-on Manager of Data Center Hardware & Infrastructure to build, lead, and scale a team responsible for the design, deployment, operations, and lifecycle management of data center hardware supporting classified (TS/SCI) and enterprise environments across all SpaceX sites.  This is not a pure people-manager role. The ideal candidate will remain deeply technical—capable of racking servers, troubleshooting power and cooling issues, optimizing high-density GPU clusters, and driving hardware standards—while simultaneously hiring, mentoring, and orchestrating a distributed team that delivers 24/7 reliability for mission-critical systems.  RESPONSIBILITIES  <ul> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-aria-level="1">Valid driver’s license. </li> </ul> COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Pay Range: $165,000.00 - $240,000.00 Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
