Your work will connect the legal, technology, operations, and project management functions. The role involves removing friction, reducing risk, and making the Legal team more efficient. You’ll take ownership of operational projects, map out workflows, and turn complex business requirements into practical solutions. Working closely with the Legal Operations Manager, you’ll partner with the Legal, Procurement, IT, and Security teams to make sure the right tools and processes are in place – and that people actually use them.</p> <h3><strong>Day to day, you will:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Map current workflows and build better, more efficient alternatives.</li> <li>Run legal operations projects from the discovery phase straight through to implementation.</li> <li>Talk to stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate them into clear requirements and action plans.</li> <li>Manage legal technology vendors, handling onboarding, renewals, and ongoing evaluations.</li> <li>Track operational data to figure out what’s working, what’s not, and where we should focus next.</li> <li>Help the team adopt new tools and processes.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What you’ll bring</strong></h3> <ul> <li>A sense of ownership. You naturally look for ways to make things cleaner, faster, and easier for others.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What you’ll need</strong></h3> <ul> <li>A proven background in leading operational or process-improvement projects involving multiple stakeholders.</li> <li>Experience in legal operations, business operations, project management, consulting, product operations, process improvement, or a similar operational role.</li> <li>Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting complex business requirements.</li> <li>A track record of turning business needs into structured implementation plans.</li> <li>Hands-on experience mapping out processes and driving continuous improvement.</li> <li>Experience managing vendor relationships or implementing new technology platforms.</li> <li>Familiarity working in cross-functional environments, particularly alongside legal, compliance, IT, or risk teams.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What success looks like</strong></h3> <p>Within your first year, you’ll take full ownership of key legal operations initiatives. You’ll have set up structured ways to gather requirements and deliver projects, making priorities clear to everyone involved.
