Legal Counsel, Consumer Credit

ViaBill is a Danish fintech company redefining the way people shop online and in-store with simple and transparent Buy Now, Pay Later solutions. As a regulated credit provider active in Denmark and Spain, we work daily with consumer credit, payments, AML, and data protection. As Legal Counsel, you will be the go-to legal partner for the business, providing practical legal advice, following regulatory developments, reviewing and drafting contracts and customer documentation as our products evolve. You will work closely with management and our central functions (product, commercial, risk, finance, compliance, and customer support), and act as the primary counterpart to our external legal advisors, balancing what is handled in-house and what is outsourced. You report to the CFO and are based in our central Copenhagen office. You join as consumer credit rules are being rewritten, with the new Consumer Credit Directive applying from November 2026, and as we develop new credit products. You will have direct exposure to leadership and real influence on how our products are designed and launched.
