You’ll play a key role in ensuring Clara’s local operations remain compliant, well-documented, and legally sound. Working closely with our Legal Lead and global teams, you'll manage operational legal work that supports our business goals while reducing risks, with a primary focus on supporting our local Mexican entity and stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include: <ul> <li>Drafting, reviewing, and organizing commercial contracts, NDAs, and corporate documentation.</li> <li>Providing legal support across internal teams—especially Sales, Finance, and Operations—to ensure interests are well represented.</li> <li>Supporting Clara’s compliance with Mexican regulations, particularly regarding data protection (LFPDPPP) and AML frameworks.</li> <li>Managing communications and deadlines with regulatory bodies, including the CNBV and Banxico, with support from senior counsel.</li> <li>Assisting in responses to administrative requests, extrajudicial notifications, and potential investigations by local authorities.</li> <li>Maintaining up-to-date legal files and records across tools like Google Drive and Slack.</li> <li>Collaborating with the global Legal team to align on standards and policies across LatAm while ensuring local execution.</li> </ul> <h3>Who you are</h3> We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
