Junior Fullstack Engineer

<p>Robots &amp; Pencils is seeking a Junior Fullstack Engineer to join our growing team. You'll contribute to building a greenfield web application alongside an experienced dev team, helping ship real features to real users. This is a great opportunity for a commercially experienced developer to grow in a fast-moving, client-facing environment.</p> <p>In February 2025, we opened our new office in Lviv, Ukraine, as part of our ongoing global growth. You'll collaborate with a distributed team working on high-impact products with colleagues across North and South America and Europe.</p> <h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Implement frontend features in React (built on RadixUI) with clean, maintainable code.</li> <li>Contribute to C#/.NET backend development and RESTful APIs.</li> <li>Work closely with senior engineers, designers, and product stakeholders to understand requirements and success criteria.</li> <li>Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and QA reviews.</li> <li>Communicate progress and blockers clearly in an agile environment.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>2–3 years of commercial software development experience.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with React and modern frontend tooling.</li> <li>Working knowledge of C# and .NET backend development.</li> <li>Familiarity with component libraries (experience with RadixUI or similar is a plus).</li> <li>Understanding of REST APIs and client–server architecture.</li> <li>Experience working in agile/scrum teams with CI/CD workflows.</li> <li>Upper-intermediate English, written and spoken.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Nice to Have</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Experience with TypeScript.</li> <li>Exposure to design systems and accessibility best practices.</li> <li>Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Personal Competencies</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Adaptability</strong>&nbsp;– Comfortable in a fast-paced, greenfield project environment.</li> <li><strong>Collaboration</strong>&nbsp;– Communicates proactively with team members and client stakeholders.</li> <li><strong>Craftsmanship</strong> – Cares about clean code, good UX, and doing things right.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li> </ul> <h3><strong>Why Join Robots &amp; Pencils?</strong></h3> <p>At Robots &amp; Pencils, we don't just build software - we solve meaningful business problems through creative technology.
