You'll get hands-on exposure to the full design process — sketches, fittings, materials, and presentations — while building the technical and creative foundation to grow into a stronger designer. If you're early in your career and want real involvement in how products actually get made, not just observing from the sidelines, this is built for that. <h2>What You'll Do</h2> <ul> <li> Partner closely with Designers and Senior Designers across multiple product types, from initial idea through final product </li> <li> Create and maintain sketches, CADs, line sheets, and presentation materials that communicate design intent, construction, materials, and functionality </li> <li> Participate in fittings, design reviews, and cross-functional meetings — capturing feedback, tracking updates, and keeping product information organized </li> <li> Collaborate with Development, Technical Design, and Materials teams to support strong, thoughtful product execution </li> <li> Maintain and update seasonal narratives and product storytelling documentation </li> <li> Contribute research and inspiration to inform the design process </li> <li> Prepare files, mockups, prototypes, and assortment organization for milestone moments and presentations </li> <li> Build hands-on understanding of materials, trims, fabrications, and construction methods </li> <li> Contribute to a collaborative team environment while growing your creative voice, technical skills, and design confidence </li> </ul> <h2>What You Bring</h2> <ul> <li> 0–2 years of industry experience, including internships and placements </li> <li> BA, BFA, or BS in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Apparel Design, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience </li> <li> Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign </li> <li> Strong interest in textiles, materials, and apparel design </li> <li> Foundational design skills supporting garments or products that are aesthetically compelling, functional, and commercially viable </li> <li> Ability to support mock-ups, tech sketch updates, and detailed note-taking during fittings </li> <li> Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas visually and verbally and incorporate feedback </li> <li> Curious, detail-oriented mindset around how materials and construction come together in a finished product </li> </ul> <h2>Nice to Have</h2> <ul> <li> Category-specific experience (e.g., knitwear, accessories, outerwear, footwear) relevant to the engagement </li> <li> Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools </li> </ul> <h2>Why This Role</h2> <ul> <li> Full-process exposure: Support the complete seasonal design cycle across multiple product categories, not a single narrow task </li> <li> Hands-on collaboration: Work directly alongside Designers, Development, Technical Design, and Materials partners </li> <li> Real skill-building: Strong exposure to fittings, product storytelling, presentation prep, and material exploration </li> <li> Career runway: A genuine growth path for designers early in their career </li> <li>Hourly rate: $25-$30/hr </li> </ul> <h2>How to Apply</h2> Ready to bring your design eye to a hands-on seasonal design process?
