Our team works across locations and partners closely with Finance, Operations and Commercial teams across the organization. We foster a culture of excellence, accountability, grit and collaboration.<br><br></p> <p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY</strong></p> <p>KKR seeks a Senior Analyst to support expense accounting across the Insurance Segment. This individual will play a hands-on role in core accounting processes, including close, financial reporting and analysis, within a complex, multi-entity environment.</p> <p>As part of the broader Accounting Operations team, the Senior Analyst will gain exposure to a wide range of accounting activities and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate brings a strong accounting foundation, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.<br><br></p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Execute key expense accounting processes, including accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, capitalized software, lease accounting and other expense related activities.</li> <li>Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations and management reporting, including budget-to-actual and expense trend analysis.</li> <li>Prepare relevant quarterly and annual financial reporting and disclosures across US GAAP and statutory accounting bases.</li> <li>Support budgeting and forecasting as appropriate and analyze financial results, trends and business drivers.</li> <li>Maintain effective accounting procedures and SOX controls, support internal and external audits, and assist in resolving identified issues.</li> <li>Partner across Finance and other key functions to resolve accounting and operational matters and support effective end-to-end processes.</li> <li>Identify and implement opportunities to simplify, automate and improve accounting processes, while contributing to broader team initiatives.<br><br></li> </ul> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.</li> <li>3+ years of relevant accounting experience within the insurance industry and/or public accounting; Big 4 experience preferred.</li> <li>Strong understanding of US GAAP and accounting principles; exposure to insurance statutory accounting preferred.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.</li> <li>Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned responsibilities and collaborate effectively across teams.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset.</li> <li>Advanced Excel skills; experience with Oracle, SAP or other enterprise accounting systems preferred.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>This is the expected annual base salary range for this Iowa-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role.
