Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Maintains a strict level of confidentiality and discretion. Is privy to executive-level business data.</li> <li>Access and update personnel records, including onboarding information, responding to HR inquiries in person and via email, and responding to employment verification requests.</li> <li>Escalates employee relations concerns with discretion.</li> <li>Is careful not to overshare information, maintains need-to-know discretion at all times.</li> <li>Interface with new hires during orientation, frontline contact with team members on site.</li> <li>Foundational knowledge of workplace laws including eVerify, employee rest & meal time.</li> <li>Deep knowledge of our employee handbook and company policies. Knows where to find a policy when asked.</li> <li>Lead Harassment Prevention Training during orientation.</li> <li>May assist team members navigating through HRIS system.</li> <li>May be tasked with small projects within the scope of their role such as creating flyers, assisting with a portion of a project, or owning a component of a larger task.</li> <li>Able to prioritize against competing interests and thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.</li> <li>Not expected to manage employee relations or investigations, rather, knows when to escalate and to whom.</li> <li>Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues</li> <li>The HR Coordinator will work closely with the HR Generalist and the different area leaders across our Fulfillment Center.</li> </ul> Skills and Qualifications: <ul> <li>0-3 years of experience</li> <li>The drive to work as a team with a results-driven approach</li> <li>Ability to build confidence and strong relationships with Team Members and area leaders</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills</li> <li>Proven skills in MS office suite and Google</li> </ul> Details of Position & Benefits: <ul> <li>Pay: $21 - $27 / hour</li> <li>Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance</li> <li>401(k) </li> <li>Annual Misfits grocery box credit of $1200 paid in weekly installments</li> <li>Life insurance</li> <li>Paid vacation time</li> <li>Paid holidays </li> <li>Paid sick days</li> </ul> Please see here for Misfits Market's <a href="https://www.misfitsmarket.com/careers-privacy">Job Applicant Privacy Notice</a>.
