GTM Engineer Monk is an AI-native accounts receivable (AR) platform for B2B companies, helping businesses get paid fast. The AR stack is broken. Finance teams still chase payments in spreadsheets, reconcile AR in spreadsheets, and use software built a decade ago. We think this is one of the largest, most ignored problems in B2B software. Trillions of dollars sit in outstanding invoices, while the tools used to unlock that cash are stuck in the past. We are rebuilding AR with AI, speed, and craftsmanship. We already manage over $1B of accounts receivable. We are backed by leading investors, and our founders have built and exited companies before (more here ). We are early. The upside is enormous, and the hardest work is ahead of us. The role We are looking for a GTM Engineer to own revenue outcomes end to end and build systems to generate pipeline. This could mean building account scoring and enrichment workflows, launching new outbound experiments, automating research and prospecting, improving our GTM systems, or analyzing conversion data to figure out what to do next. Who you are 1+ years at a top-tier management consultancy or investment bank, or in a comparable high-ownership GTM, growth, strategy, or operating role Strong analytical and structured thinking. You can take an ambiguous problem, break it into pieces, form a hypothesis, and get to an answer High agency and resilience. You own the outcome, manage scope, and keep pushing until the job is done You do not need to be a software engineer, but you should be willing to learn and contribute to our GTM repository Bias to action. You would rather ship an experiment today and learn from it than spend a week designing the perfect system Our values We hope you add your own DNA and values to our culture as you build with us. Ownership and craft: We own our work end to end and care about the details. Our Customers deserve great outcomes, and we aim to produce work that gets a 12/10 reaction. Ownership also means knowing when to go deep and when to move fast. Once something is live, we own the follow-through until it works Speed and urgency: We ship daily. We act now. Not tomorrow or at the end of the week, but today, this hour Radical clarity: We care about getting to the truth. We want everyone reasoning from the same version of reality. That means being open to feedback, learning quickly from mistakes, and communicating clearly Why solve this problem now A broken market and a real shot at owning it. AR is huge, ignored, and ready to be rebuilt. We are early, and the surface area is enormous $T+ market and max EV from a single AR wedge No clear winner has emerged. It can be us Insulated from labs. AR requires deep integrations and a bespoke last mile that general-purpose models are unlikely to solve on their own A hard problem worth solving. Revenue intelligence is difficult and not especially glamorous. There are fewer great companies focused on it, and we think that creates an opportunity Undeniable $ROI. We can show Customers clear financial value and become embedded in critical workflows Our unfair advantage: We have ex-finance founders who have exited before, the scars and lessons from those experiences, an engineering-first culture, and a late-mover advantage Why build with us // what we offer You want to be a founder someday. We share what we have learned from building our previous companies. 25% of the team are second-time founders. One of our goals is to help you become a founder and create a place where you can do your best work (see more here ) Real ownership and a steep learning curve. The systems and experiments you build will go live quickly, and you will see whether they create pipeline and revenue Build at the frontier of applied AI. You will use AI to solve real workflow problems, not demos Experienced founders and a small team that is all-in Competitive salary and meaningful equity Medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible paid time off, and dinner stipend Beautiful office in Flatiron, New York We hire for intensity, craft, and attitude. We believe most things can be learned. Category-defining companies are built by exceptional people. Our team is one of the products we are building. Come help build it.
