Your Story We're hiring a Fullstack Filmmaker who can take a project from the first idea to the final film. You'll develop concepts, plan productions, direct, shoot, and edit across Story's work. Some projects you'll own end to end; others you'll lead alongside a producer. This is an experienced role for someone who understands the whole process and can step in wherever the work needs them. Responsibilities: Develop creative concepts from the initial brief through execution. Plan productions, including budgets, schedules, talent, and locations. Direct and shoot across a range of projects and formats. Edit your own work or guide an editor through post-production. Coordinate with VFX artists and other production collaborators. Lead client calls, present ideas, and manage relationships throughout a project. Manage multiple projects while keeping quality and delivery on track. Requirements: Portfolio demonstrating work across multiple stages of production. Professional experience directing, shooting, and editing. Experience managing client relationships. Ability to complete a paid test project. Based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate. Degrees not required. Your work speaks for itself. Bonus: Experience shooting with Sony FX cameras. Strong visual storytelling instincts from concept through edit. Confidence leading both a production team and a client conversation. Resourcefulness when a project needs a different approach.
