Full-Stack Developer

About the Role Join the core engineering team of an early-stage AI startup as a Full-Stack Developer, building scalable web applications that power an AI-driven product. You'll work closely with product, design, and fellow engineers to ship features end-to-end — from initial concept through to customers — in a high-impact environment where your contributions directly shape the platform. What You'll Do Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications across the full stack. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to bring new features to life. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with a focus on quality and longevity. Participate actively in code reviews, giving and receiving constructive feedback. Troubleshoot and debug production issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. Contribute to architectural decisions and help shape the technology roadmap, particularly around AI capabilities. What We're Looking For 3+ years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Engineer or in a similar role building and shipping web applications. Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g. Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Go). Experience with a modern frontend framework such as Vue.js, React, Angular, or Svelte. Experience with a backend language or framework such as Python, Node.js, Java, Go, or C#. Strong grasp of software engineering principles, design patterns, and architectural decision-making. Demonstrated ability to write clean, tested code and engage meaningfully in code reviews. Experience troubleshooting and debugging issues in production systems. Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills. Interest in or experience with AI-related technologies or machine learning frameworks is a plus. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus. Open-source contributions or a personal project portfolio are a plus. Willingness to relocate to Berlin, Germany — visa sponsorship is not available . Location Hybrid — Berlin, Germany. This role requires relocation to Berlin and is primarily on-site (approximately 70% on-site, 30% remote).
