About the Role: As Skydio's Fulfillment Operations Supervisor, you will lead the teams responsible for ensuring our products are shipped accurately, efficiently, and on time to customers around the world. You will oversee daily fulfillment operations including Packout, Outbound Logistics, and Fulfillment Associates while partnering closely with Production Planning, Manufacturing, Customer Operations, and third-party logistics providers to meet customer demand. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring exceptional operational execution, strong systems aptitude, and the ability to build high-performing teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for driving safety, quality, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations. How You’ll Make an Impact: Lead and develop the Fulfillment, Packout, and Outbound Logistics teams to consistently achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals. Supervise Fulfillment Associates, Outbound Logistics Analysts, and Packout Team Leads, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career development. Partner closely with Production Planning to prioritize shipments and ensure customer delivery commitments are met. Coordinate daily fulfillment activities to meet production schedules, customer requirements, and shipping deadlines. Manage finished goods inventory accuracy, fulfillment consumables, and packaging materials to prevent production interruptions. Monitor inventory levels and reorder consumable materials to maintain uninterrupted fulfillment operations. Oversee domestic and international shipments while ensuring compliance with export regulations, dangerous goods requirements, and ITAR controls. Coordinate transportation activities with carriers and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to optimize cost, service, and delivery performance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on throughput, inventory accuracy, labor efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Develop, document, and improve standard operating procedures across fulfillment and outbound logistics. Monitor key operational metrics and communicate performance, risks, and corrective actions to leadership. Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Customer Operations, Quality, and Finance to resolve operational issues and improve processes. Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, and workforce planning to build a scalable and engaged fulfillment organization. What Makes You a Good Fit: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years of experience leading warehouse, fulfillment, logistics, or manufacturing operations teams. Experience supervising hourly employees in a fast-paced production or distribution environment. Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes and transportation operations. Working knowledge of dangerous goods shipping regulations (IATA, IMDG, or DOT) and export compliance requirements including ITAR. Experience coordinating with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and transportation carriers. Strong inventory management experience including cycle counts, inventory control, and material replenishment. Demonstrated experience using ERP systems such as NetSuite along with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Highly proficient with operational systems and data analysis to drive decisions and improve performance. Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Proven ability to prioritize competing demands while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Experience implementing process improvements using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies is preferred. Comfortable working in a dynamic, rapidly changing manufacturing environment with a strong customer-first mindset. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in high-tech manufacturing, aerospace, robotics, or consumer electronics. Dangerous Goods certification or prior responsibility for hazardous materials shipping. Familiarity with export documentation, customs processes, and global freight operations. APICS, CSCP, CLTD, Lean, or Six Sigma certifications are a plus. Experience building and developing high-performing operational teams through coaching and performance management. Obtaining FAA Part 107 certification within the first 60 days of employment is strongly encouraged for all Skydio employees and required for certain positions. Compensation: At Skydio, our compensation packages for regular, full-time employees include competitive base salaries, equity in the form of stock options, and comprehensive benefits packages. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. Relocation assistance may also be provided for eligible roles. The annual base salary range for this position is $102,000 - 144,000,*.
