You'll take CAD geometry, set up and run simulations, build verified reference solutions, and write Python checks for the agent's results.</p><p></p><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field such as energy or oil & gas. A PhD is preferred but not required.</li><li>Several years of hands-on industry or research CFD with OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX or STAR-CCM+, including meshing.</li><li>Solid verification and validation practice: mesh-independence studies, and validation against experiment or benchmarks.</li><li>Comfortable with Python and GitHub.</li><li>English at B2 level or above.</li><li>Nice to have: aerospace, automotive, offshore or turbomachinery background; multiphase or particle-laden flow experience.</li></ul><p></p><p>Project time expectations </p><p>For this project, tasks are estimated to require around 10–20 hours per week during active phases, based on project requirements. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed workload, and applies only while the project is active. </p><p></p><p>Compensation </p><p>On this project, contributors can earn up to $14 per hour equivalent, depending on their level and pace of contribution. </p><p>Compensation varies across projects depending on scope, complexity, and required expertise.
