ABOUT REBAR Rebar is building the next-generation operating system for commercial HVAC, electrical, and plumbing suppliers and subcontractors. Over the past year, our V1 quoting product has scaled to thousands of quotes completed weekly, doubled revenue six weeks into 2026, and gained adoption across many of the top suppliers in North America. Fresh off a $14M Series A backed by leading construction tech investors, we're entering our next phase of growth. We're transforming the $250B HVAC industry with AI-native software. It's an industry still largely untouched by modern tools, and there's a rare opening to become the defining voice of AI in pre-construction. This is your chance to get in early. THE ROLE We're hiring our first Revenue Operations Lead to own the operating system behind Rebar's revenue engine: Marketing, Sales Development, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance, along with the systems, processes, data, and planning that connects them. Today each team runs its own tools, keeping their own version of the truth. Marketing runs events and field programs that need to land in the CRM with a source attached. Sales needs a forecast it can trust. Customer Success needs clean accounts and renewal triggers. Finance needs every contract and every dollar of ARR change to live in one place. You'll be the connective tissue between them, and the test of the role is simple: one number that agrees everywhere it appears. This is a hands-on seat. You'll be the first and only person in the function, working with the Head of Sales, Head of CS, Finance, Marketing, and our GTM Engineer, who builds the automation and data pipelines that feed the CRM. You own the system of record, the definitions, and the process. We're at the point where the foundations are being built, cleaning up what exists today and designing what we need to scale. The ideal candidate is an operator with a reconciliation instinct: when two numbers disagree, you find the source that's wrong and fix it there, not in the report. WHAT YOU'LL DO Own the GTM systems and how they connect Own HubSpot as the system of record across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success: objects, properties, pipelines, lifecycle stages, workflows, permissions, and dashboards Own the stack around it and the connections between tools: our dialer, call intelligence, e-signature, support, enrichment, and the event and field marketing platforms our Marketing team runs Evaluate new tools against what we already have, connect the ones we keep, and retire the ones we don't Own data hygiene at the source: purge junk records, fix how deals link to companies and parent accounts, and put rules in place that keep bad data out Build one funnel from first touch to renewal Define the lifecycle stages every team shares, from a first touch at an event to a renewed customer, and make each handoff explicit Get every lead into HubSpot with its source attached, whether it came from a trade show, a field event, the website, a referral, or outbound Own lead routing, qualification rules, and response SLAs between Marketing, Sales Development, and Sales Build the attribution Marketing needs to see which programs and events create pipeline and revenue, not just leads Run revenue planning and the operating rhythm Run the weekly forecast cadence (commit, best case, upside) and the data behind the forecast review Build the capacity, territory, and quota models behind hiring and planning, and partner with Finance on annual planning Deliver the business metrics leadership runs on (pipeline, conversion by stage, win rate, CAC, NRR) from one place, read the same way by every team Make HubSpot the source of truth for revenue, with Finance Make every contract live in HubSpot, including renewals, which are created the moment the original deal closes Classify every closed-won deal as new, upsell, or downsell, linked to the deal it replaces, so Finance's ARR bridge, commission credit, and NRR all read from the same fields Handle parent and child accounts correctly as customers consolidate under common ownership Run commissions and the deal desk Run commissions end to end: pull the data, apply the plan, resolve disputes, and deliver the payout file to Finance on schedule Run the deal desk: agreements generated from CRM line items, pricing approvals, and contract terms that match what Finance bills Connect Sales to Customer Success Own the data handoff from Sales to Implementation to Customer Success Set up renewal and expansion triggers off contract dates, and bring product usage signals into the CRM where they drive a renewal or an upsell Standardize book-of-business views for account owners and CSMs Ship every change with enablement Write the one-page guide for every field, stage, or process change and train it with the team it touches. A change that ships without its doc isn't shipped Template the systems side of onboarding (access, tools, first-week setup) for every new GTM hire WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 5+ years in Revenue Operations or a closely related GTM operations role at a B2B SaaS company, ideally early-stage, with scope that spanned more than just Sales You've been the HubSpot admin of record, not a power user. You've owned objects, properties, pipelines, workflows, and permissions, and you know the Marketing Hub side too: forms, lifecycle stages, campaigns, and attribution You've connected systems. You've wired a third-party tool into the CRM, owned the data model on both sides, and know what breaks when one side changes You've built a funnel end to end: lifecycle definitions, routing, SLAs, and attribution that Marketing and Sales both trusted You've run a forecast. You've owned a weekly commit cadence, produced the roll-up, and reconciled the CRM to the number leadership presented You speak ARR: new vs. upsell vs. downsell, renewals, NRR, and how to model them in a CRM so Finance can close the books on them You've calculated commissions yourself, and you've run a deal desk in execution, not on slides You fix the source, not the report. A junk record is a defect to remove, not a footnote to explain Every team wants your help. You partner with Marketing, Sales, CS, and Finance without becoming the data police, and you can say no to work that isn't yours You're happy as a team of one: hands on everything, comfortable with imperfect systems, and eager to shape how the function grows Bonus points: event or field marketing operations, territory and capacity planning, exposure to the trades or construction, experience with Nooks, Attention, PandaDoc, Intercom, PostHog, or a CPQ, SQL and comfort directing AI tools to build reports and automations, or a background in Finance or on the sales floor.
