About the Role As the founding GTM Lead, you'll build and drive the commercial engine at Poetic. Every company runs on operational processes — disputes, claims, underwriting, reviews. Today they live in documents and people's heads, run by large teams and changed slowly by committee. Poetic turns those processes into software: AI runs the work, gets better with every execution, and the people who own the process can read it, adjust it, and trust it. Your job is to help the world's largest institutions see that future and move toward it. You'll generate pipeline, work day-to-day alongside our CEO to open doors and qualify use cases, and use your consultative selling expertise to become a trusted partner to their leaders. Working with our deployments team, you'll define the multi-year initiatives that start with a single workstream and compound into turning a customer's entire operation into software. What We're Looking For Proven success as a Majors / Strategic Account Executive or Account Director closing $1M+ ACV deals 8+ years of Enterprise / Strategic GTM experience in AI, SaaS, cloud, or data platforms Established credibility within financial services, insurance, telecom, healthcare, or supply chain, with relationships you can leverage to accelerate early pipeline A consultative, solutions-oriented approach that combines platform, product, and implementation to drive outcomes Deep curiosity about Poetic's capabilities and how they can solve a wide range of real-world problems Willingness to travel. Face-to-face time with senior executives is core to how this role wins What You'll Do Drive new business at the tip of the spear. Open new accounts through your own networks and partner directly with the founder to build pipeline and broker introductions between Poetic and large enterprises Define and own commercial functions: contracting, MSAs, legal, and revenue lifecycle management Source initial engagements and collaborate with our Deployments function to transform them into multi-workflow, multi-year partnerships Build out the team over time — covering partnerships, RevOps, and outbound — and own partnership and distribution strategy with systems integrators Translate customer feedback, objections, and market signal back to the product and deployments teams to sharpen our positioning and product Strong Candidates Also Have Experience selling to and influencing the C-suite, with the credibility to drive deals at the executive level Experience building compounding multi-year partnerships with key parties in an industry Experience at companies where the sales motion is deeply technical, consultative, and deployment-led Hiring experience: you've recruited and built GTM teams before and have a strong eye for talent Poetic Poetic (formerly known as Forge) is creating the next layer of human-computer interaction - combining the intelligence of AI with the reliability of software.
