If you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values data integrity, and enjoys enhancing financial processes, this role is perfect for you.</p><p></p><h2><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></h2><p></p><h3><b>Monthly &amp; Quarterly Reporting</b></h3><ul><li><p>Lead the completion of monthly and quarterly financial deliverables and month-end close.</p></li><li><p>Manage overhead accruals, prepayments, provisions (doubtful debts, holdbacks, leave liabilities), and BAS/IAS preparation.</p></li><li><p>Oversee revenue recognition processes, including deferrals, WIP, and milestone billing.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.</p></li><li><p>Manage tangible and intangible assets, including related depreciation and amortisation.</p></li><li><p>Handle inventory reconciliations and all monthly accounting journals.</p></li></ul><h3></h3><h3><b>Financial Analysis &amp; Stakeholder Support</b></h3><ul><li><p>Prepare and update monthly/quarterly QSR reporting for business units.</p></li><li><p>Provide financial insights, analysis, and problem-solving support to internal stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Build strong business partnerships and respond to internal/external queries in a timely manner.</p></li><li><p>Understand key business metrics and their drivers.</p></li></ul><h3></h3><h3><b>Governance &amp; Process Management</b></h3><ul><li><p>Ensure documentation, review, and continuous improvement of finance processes, policies, and procedures.</p></li><li><p>Assist in internal and external audits.</p></li><li><p>Support treasury activities and ensure adherence to transfer pricing requirements.</p></li></ul><h3></h3><h3><b>Integration &amp; Leadership</b></h3><ul><li><p>Support financial integration of newly acquired companies.</p></li><li><p>Work closely with Business Unit Leaders and integration teams to optimise finance processes.</p></li><li><p>Supervise and mentor junior accountants, ensuring quality output and supporting professional growth.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2><b>What We’re Looking For</b></h2><ul><li><p>Minimum <b>3 years of professional accounting experience</b> (commercial environment preferred).</p></li><li><p>Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; <b>CA/CPA qualification</b> (or equivalent) preferred.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards (IFRS / A-IFRS).</p></li><li><p>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.</p></li><li><p>Advanced computer literacy, including accounting systems and MS Office.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.</p></li><li><p>Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2><b>Apply Now</b></h2><p>If you’re looking for a role where you can grow, contribute, and work flexibly, we’d love to hear from you.</p></div> <p><strong>To apply:</strong> <a href="https://weworkremotely.com/remote-jobs/harris-global-business-services-financial-accountant">https://weworkremotely.com/remote-jobs/harris-global-business-services-financial-accountant</a></p>
