Type of work: Hybrid (New Jersey / New York) The Opportunity Financial infrastructure is shifting on-chain, and Maxima Consulting is looking for a Blockchain Architect to shape the enterprise platforms driving that transformation. In this high-impact role, you will lead the end-to-end architecture and solution strategy for institutional digital asset platforms—focusing on Real-World Asset (RWA) tokenization, digital securities, and institutional custody workflows. You will bridge complex Web3 protocols with enterprise-grade reliability, security, and compliance. If you thrive at the intersection of deep protocol knowledge, full-stack Web3 architecture, and technical leadership, this is your opportunity to build systems that operate at institutional scale. What You’ll Do Drive Platform Architecture: Design and deploy resilient, scalable end-to-end architectures connecting React/Next.js frontends, backend microservices, smart contracts, and EVM networks. Architect Digital Asset Solutions: Lead the technical design for RWA tokenization, digital securities, and institutional custody workflows across public EVM and enterprise chains (e.g., Hyperledger Besu, Kaleido). Secure Smart Contracts: Establish protocols for smart contract design, upgradeability, gas optimization, and audit governance across institutional standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, ERC-3643, ERC-1400). Integrate Institutional Custody: Design secure transaction-signing workflows and integration strategies for top-tier MPC wallet providers (Fireblocks, DFNS, Turnkey, BitGo). Embed Compliance & Security: Build regulatory-first architecture incorporating KYC/AML controls, transaction monitoring, and security best practices into core tokenization workflows. Lead Architecture Governance: Establish Web3 coding standards, author Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), define technical roadmaps, and mentor engineering teams through production releases. What We’re Looking For Enterprise Blockchain Mastery: Proven experience architecting and shipping enterprise-grade digital asset and tokenization solutions. Full-Stack & Web3 Expertise: Hands-on architecture experience using Node.js, Go, or Rust, alongside React/Next.js frontends and Web3 libraries (Ethers.js, Viem, Wagmi). Institutional Tokenization & Custody: Deep fluency in permissioned token standards (ERC-3643, ERC-1400) and enterprise MPC wallet integrations. EVM & Enterprise Chains: Technical command of EVM networks and enterprise platforms like Hyperledger Besu and Kaleido. Technical Leadership: Exceptional track record in setting architectural strategy, leading code/audit reviews, and guiding cross-functional delivery teams. Location & Availability: Ability to work on a hybrid schedule in the New Jersey / New York area and available for an immediate interview process.
