This role requires a understanding of systems, networking, monitoring, and security, with a strong bias toward automation, reliability and scale.   What you will do <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Works on problems of moderate scope which are often varied and routine where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Applies learned techniques and contributes to analysis and investigation to solve problems.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Builds productive internal/external working relationships to resolve mutual problems by collaborating on procedures or transactions.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Focuses on providing standard professional advice and creating initial reports/analyzes for review by experienced team professionals.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Technical knowledge using: Ansible, Python, Packer, AWS (EC2, IAM, VPC, etc), Linux.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Open minded, flexible, willingness and ability to learn new technologies as required.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Utilize best practices in release management, incident management, capacity planning, and operational readiness.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Proactively identify opportunities to increase system resiliency.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Participate in on-call rotation, demonstrating strong customer empathy and responsiveness to incidents.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Own and improve standard operating procedures and system documentation.</li> </ul>   What you will have Required Skills and Experience: <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong Linux systems administration background with a deep understanding of how Linux interacts with hardware (CPU, memory, disk, networking).</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> Experience in scripting and automation using Ansible, Bash, Python, Packer, and Terraform.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, IAM, VPC, etc.)</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and CI/CD concepts.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Experience with datacenter operations including racking, stacking, and remote system management.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Experience with managing and configuration of systems at scale with zero-touch provisioning approaches.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Experience managing monitoring systems and developing custom dashboards for observability.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Experience with networking within a linux environment (Router -> Switch -> Server -> Virtualization -> Linux -> Service) ; BGP and DNS experience is a plus.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Experience with DevOps principles, Agile methodologies, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
