90 – 119 PLN/hour (B2B)  We are looking for a DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for service agreement collaboration (B2B contract) to cooperate with a team that connects Flix's cloud platform with the new train fleet.  This is a contractor engagement for a DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure professional who wants to work on impactful, hands-on challenges with real technical depth and a lot of cross-company collaboration.  Scope of Services  You will help shape an architecture from the start, make sure it is secure and reliable, and take it all the way to production.  About the Engagement  <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Design, build and operate the cloud infrastructure that connects onboard train systems with Flix's backend services, covering telemetry ingestion, alerting, video streams and remote content delivery </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Build and maintain the infrastructure-as-code foundation of the platform, keeping the Terraform/Terragrunt codebase clean, scalable and easy for others to work with </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Steer technical proposals and topics across backend and infrastructure, from the first idea and design discussion to a working solution in production </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Take part in system design and architecture discussions and constructively challenge architectural decisions when you see a better path </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Define and implement secure communication between the trains and the cloud, including mTLS, certificate management and network design </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Work closely with train manufacturers’ engineers to agree on interfaces, protocols and responsibilities on both sides of the integration </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with backend developers and other Flix teams so that new services are deployed reliably and are easy to run and monitor </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Make sure the platform is reliable, observable and secure, so that we know what is happening in our systems before our users do </li> </ul> About You  <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Solid hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering and in designing and running cloud environments </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience with AWS (preferred). Experience with any other major cloud platform is also welcome </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong knowledge of Terraform/Terragrunt for infrastructure provisioning and automation </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">A solid understanding of systems architecture and system design, and the confidence to challenge architectural decisions with clear arguments </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Good knowledge of networking, including mTLS and SSL/TLS </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Foundational knowledge of security and the ability to apply it in everyday infrastructure decisions </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Proven ability to lead technical proposals and topics across backend and infrastructure, and to bring your stakeholders along with you </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong critical thinking, including the ability to analyze a problem, weigh trade-offs and explain your reasoning clearly </li> </ul> Nice to have:  <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience with IoT, automotive, or other remote device integrations </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience as a backend engineer or full-stack developer, ideally in the JVM ecosystem </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Familiarity with Linux and virtual machines </li> </ul> Collaboration Model  <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Contract type: Cooperation based on a service agreement (B2B/freelance contract), not an employment contract </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Working model: Independent contractor responsible for delivering agreed services and submitting invoices </li> </ul> <iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/YlHz7TiiRAw" width="560" height="314"></iframe>
